We visit this hotel every year and can’t wait to get back. Winter and summer seasons are a delight. The pools are great, and the service is excellent. The staff is very kind and professional. The location in Montegrotto is central and there are great places to visit nearby. And there’s delicious gelato in the dining room.

We visited yesterday to use their spa facilities and have lunch. The parking attendant is quite grouchy and tried to tell me off because we hadn't reversed enough into the parking space. I explained to him in Italian that I needed to open the boot of the car and that the car would be reversed more when I had done that. The pools were ok but the hydro massage jets were on timers which is not brilliant. Again another crabby faced young woman serving at the bar. We won't come back as there are better spa hotels in the area.

Terme Abano-Montegrotto is just 15 minutes by train from Padua (Podova). A great place for a relaxing day trip. But the thermal baths are owned by hotels there. And very few offer day tickets without spa or medical (mud) treatments. One hotel that provides pool only day tickets is Hotel Petrarca (Piazza Roma 23). The ticket gives access to two large pools that both extend from indoors to outdoors. The water temperature is around 36 or 37 centigrade, and it is mineral water. There is also a steam room and sauna, and a bar providing drinks and light meals. The grounds are attractively planted with trees giving partial shade. And there are plenty of loungers to lay out on. Week day tickets are €22 and weekend tickets €32 for the whole day.

Semplicemente fantastico, siamo stati nel week end del 8 dicembre e ci siamo trovati veramente bene, il parcheggio per chi ha una camera è riservato, noi siamo stati con il nostro cane ed è stato bene accetto. La camera è dotata di ogni comfort , le terme sono bellissime, molto pulite, i bagnini sempre presenti. La cena è stata veramente deliziosa, i camerieri sono stati molto professionali, menu a tre portate , antipasto a buffet. La colazione è a buffet ed è servita di ogni delizia..

Bellissima struttura, molto ampia, situata in centro paese e dotata di ampio parcheggio interno. Le camere sono molto grandi, dotate di balconcino e di tutti i confort necessari e molte sono state rivisitate di recente. La sala da pranzo è al piano terra, ampia ed accogliente. Completa il tutto, una dotazione termale di tutto rispetto, composta da piscine interne/esterne (tutte con acqua calda), area estetica, area fanghi e massaggi. Il personale è di una gentilezza, simpatia e disponibilità incomparabili, la cucina offre piatti sempre nuovi e ottimi, con possibili di "bis" o piatti a richiesta per i più piccoli. Il senza glutine qui non è un problema, perché sia la cucina che i camerieri sono molto preparati e disponibili. Prezzi nella media per la qualità del posto. Raccomandato.

È vero l'hotel è un po' datato ma quest'anno abbiamo provato le nuove suite nature e sono veramente belle, spaziose, silenziose e complete di ogni confort. Il personale sempre gentile, servizio al ristorante top, soprattutto Roberto che ci ha seguiti e aiutati con i nostri problemi alimentari non facendoci mai mancare nulla. Le piscine sono fantastiche peccato solo la maleducazione di alcune persone che occupano idro e getti per ore senza preoccuparsi degli altri ospiti ma ovviamente questo non è colpa dell'hotel! Consigliatissimo per qualche giorno di relax

Hotel un po' datato e non certamente da ****. Cena sufficiente, Buona la colazione, camera nella depandance piccola e arredamento piuttosto vecchio. Zona interna della piscina molto affollata ( credo che il problema sia causato dagli ingressi giornalieri di persone che non alloggiano nell'hotel) rapporto qualità prezzo sufficiente. Per qualità e servizi offerti direi hotel ***.

Strana politica quella attuata dalla struttura... Se hai un voucher giornaliero pare che ci sia posto per te solo dalle 19 e vieni invitato non solo ad attendere all'esterno, ma anche ad andare al Santo a dire "una preghierina"nel frattempo. Se poi per caso entra tuo cognato e senza nominare i voucher trova magicamente posto... Non ti viene da pensare che sia decisamente scorretto?? In fondo i soldi li hanno intascati mesi fa ed è facile nascondersi dietro il fatto che la prenotazione non viene accettata e quindi se c'è posto entri senno aspetti. Regola che sarebbe bello venisse applicata a tutti senza distinzione di voucher o meno. Consiglio inoltre più pulizia negli spogliatoi dove i capelli a terra la fanno da padrone e ovviamente una maggiore educazione da parte del personale alla reception.
