The hotel is situated opposite / next to a fairground and a small market. Stayed for a night in June’24. Dated and gloomy rooms, basic in room fixture & furniture, average / uncomfortable bedding, inoperative AC-only sound no cooling, basic washroom, tiny & ineffective lift, unfriendly restaurant staff, average buffet breakfast etc. etc. This is the only hotel during our Europe tour, where we had to buy bottled water. Overall, not a very satisfactory stay.

Hotel ok but could get a nice revamp. Looks terribly old,although few improvements have been made. The taps have been changed. Rooms are clean. Bedding ok Restaurant is not great. Restaurant staff dont seem happy ant very friendly. Booked in half bored and really not great.

Do not book this hotel in matecatini therme. It's abysmal. Outside the pool and Jacuzzis are broken battered and full of sludge. Breeding ground for mosquitoes which fed on us every night. The air conditioning hasn't worked in years so leaving doors to balcony open is essential. The room disgusting. Shower enshrined in heavy black mould. The ubend fell out of our basin flooding the floor with greasy clump of hair and pungent unexamined detritus. Nothing could prepare us however for the absolute slips we were served daily. Appalling crap. We were also charged various prices for the same bottle of wine from 12 to 14 and 17 euros. Scamming staff. I seriously recommend that you look elsewhere in the town Avoid any 3 star establishment.

The photos are old! Subsequent renovation: it was in 2000. They certainly haven't painted since then and they don't force cleaning either. Breakfast in the restaurant is always the same. The dinner.... I prefer not to describe it. The air conditioner doesn't work, but maybe it's better because only dirt accumulated over the years would come out of it. The rooms on the 4th floor are better, but they can't really be called clean either. The hallway carpet has never seen a carpet cleaner. The whole hotel is a dilapidated old building. The attached photos are pictures of one of the rooms on the first floor with a view, which they had the nerve to give us. I never want that again! I don't recommend it to anyone else!

Rooms are old, and you can see damage everywhere. The blankets you get to cover are thick as a sheet, so we asked for extra blankets because it was freezing cold. DO NOT TAKE ANY OTHER MEAL THERE EXCEPT THE BREAKFAST. Breakfast is ok, and has variety of everything. We took dinner there, and that was complete scam. They say it original Italian food, but all you get if prepared frozen food. We made a complaint about that and they were extremely rude, and didn't even want to talk about it. After our trip, we have sent an e-mail complaint, but never got the answer. Basically, the stuff if really rude, the food isn't so good, and for that money is no value.

Cozy, clean hotel. , comfortable with qualified and very professional staff, ideal for families and groups and as a stopover to travel to the various Tuscan art places such as Florence, Pisa, Lucca etc...excellent breakfast, excellent cleanliness...only thing missing in the room. ...great for relaxing by the pool on a beautiful sunny day. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK THANKS

Externally it looked nice, as did the lobby. As soon as you entered the room you immediately noticed that there was no fresh and clean scent but rather stale air. We had asked for a double bed but they were two beds placed together. The mini bar was turned off, after turning it on it barely worked.... But the most terrible thing was the air conditioning, as soon as it was turned on it seemed to work even if it made a lot of noise, then suddenly it stopped working. Why? It's not a period, we've been told.... In April, on hot days like those, it's not a period. Absurd. The balcony had neither mosquito nets nor a shutter so there wasn't even the possibility of keeping it open without fear. The handle was also broken. By their admission we had been given a "complicated" room... Conclusion? A bath of sweat, so much so that I got sick when I returned. The breakfast was very poor, products without flavour, there weren't even disposable glasses. The customer should be listened to and satisfied, not ignored. To absolutely improve and above all modernize!

Not recommended Disappointing lunch Sad breakfast Unfortunately I also had an accident in the shower where I took a big blow to the head. The shower without a shower tray is very slippery. Definitely not up to standard. We will report it to the competent bodies for an inspection

Apparently elegant hotel, with dilapidated, old and dirty rooms. The headboard was greasy and dirty, dust everywhere! I had a bathroom with a toilet built into the shower, without a shower tray of course and with broken tiles! Absurd!
