This Hotel is punching above its weight. It is not a 4 star Hotel. The room was very clean and reasonably comfortable. Most of the staff were pleasant and helpful. But one slightly older lady who appeared to be in charge on Reception had an attitude not conducive with the Hospitality industry. Our room safe was locked on arrival, and the next day l asked Reception for it to be unlocked, a very pleasant young lady came up and did so but she was unable to show us how to reset it, and there were no instructions in any language in our room, she said she would send someone else up that could do it. After a short while there was a bang on the door similar to how l imagine a Police raid starts! It was the lady in charge ,she did not say Bonjourno or Good Morning, nothing, just came in and proceeded to set the safe and then got rather sharp with my husband when he pressed `b` instead of `a !! We were part of a group, TS Tours in our joining instructions, it said `There is a Spa at your hotel so if you wish to take advantage of this then please do pack your swimmers`It does not tell you that in order to use the pool you must buy a Spa Package( not cheap) and in order to enter the Spa you must hire one of their robes!! If like us you are part of a Tour you will not go hungry at this Hotel, but every breakfast is like Ground Hog Day. The muesli and Cornflakes (which we had to ask for) were from a budget range as was the fruit juice. The other cereal was Coco Pops, not too many takers for that with the average age being 70. Fresh fruit consisted of Green Apples, Apricots, Plums and Kiwi, Eventually some water melon appeared on a platter after someone asked. In short it was all rather lack lustre. Please also be aware that right next door is a very noisy music bar, so if you are after an early night -forget it. Finally there is a television in the room, again with no instructions but forget it if you're not fluent in Italian as the only English language channel is CNN (America) news.
