Montauk Manor

Sao excited to have just gotten married in Montauk this month (September 2024). We stayed at the Montauk Manor and had a wonderful experience start to finish! Planning a wedding is cumbersome and can be overwhelming but Donna made the process a breeze! She helped organize room blocks, was patient with our multiple visits, assisted our guests with all booking needs, and treated us like royalty. Truly a fabulous experience. The grounds are spectacular with a view that is breathtaking. We host three events at Monte's (Welcome meet & greet, pre photos exclusive hour, and next day luncheon) where everyone raved about the food. Paul at Montes was so impressive and helpful with all three events. Can not say enough wonderful things about the hotel, Donna and Paul!

Visiting from the UK and first time in the area - loved the charm of the hotel and the rooms were spacious. The shuttle was such a huge help to us getting around as we didn’t have a car, we never waited more than 10 mins - great service. The staff were also great. The restaurant manager/hostess was so friendly and helpful, and John was such a great bar manager - he gave us lots of help with tips on the area and our further travel after our ferry was cancelled. He really made our visit!

We stayed at Montauk Manor on the Bayside. The rooms are HUGE along with a very spacious loft. The weather was a bit rough on us the first night, but we were satisfied with staying in for the night. We made our way to the restaurant Montes. The food was amazing. It was so relaxing not having to drive to find food for our 2 day trip. All the staff here are well trained in customer service, and etiquette is on point. They are also knowledgeable in local tourist attractions. We will return.

OUTDATED, UNCOMFORTABLE, OVERPRICED AT almost $400/ night, this place is SO OVERPRICED. This is a 2* hotel at best, Then you are nickel and dimed- feels REALLY TACKY in their charges. They hand you 3 TV remotes in a plastic bag- and expect you to return them in the plastic bag upon checkout- and don’t you dare take a room key by accident! They’ll charge you $5 for it! The bill upon checkout reflects a balance for the remotes and 2 room keys. So mine said $70- for 2 nights. Not until you stand at the counter and they check them back in do you get a $0 balance billing statement. They say they have wi-fi- give you a code for your unit in particular- ours did not work AT ALL. They leave water bottles on the table with cups- then charge you for them, without marking that they are $4 each! So much for a water bottle to welcome you. AGAIN- TACKY. These stupid, tacky things aside, the beds are HORRIBLE. SO UNCOMFORTABLE. The sofa is dilapidated and smelly. There is not room to room consistency as to upkeep and furnishings, as they are “owned” - as in time shared or something- but then managed as a hotel too. My daughter’s room was slightly more updated and fresh looking, but she says her bed was also uncomfortable, Bathroom is TINY. Weird set up with their “loft unit”- steep stairs to the only bathroom in the unit, and tiny counter. What a waste of money. Buyer beware too- you have to pay 100% upfront- NO Cancellations- and their fees and taxes add up to more than 1 night’s room charges. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone.

My husband and I stayed at Montauk Manor multiple times. I have found my new favorite room and to my surprise it wasn’t on the Bayside that I always stay. I was in room 121. It was beautifully decorated. It was a deluxe room with two bathrooms and a very large loft with two beds upstairs, it was so comfortable And felt like being at home. I highly recommend this room. It’s on the first floor right off of the lobby. It was very quiet. My husband loved that it had a 70 inch TV in the living room. I was very impressed with this room. The restaurant in the hotel Montes is amazing. The staff was so nice and friendly and the food was awesome. We did not have to leave the property to go get something to eat. It was all around a wonderful trip. Looking forward to going back and staying in this room 121 again

This is a lovely hotel. Would definitely stay again. The staff are friendly and helpful. However, I would make some requests. Our room had one full size bed. Would have preferred at least queen size. The patio was nice but covered in bird poop. Who is supposed to clean that ? The outdoor furniture was a ratan material that stayed wet after a rain. Request plastic furniture or something easy to dry. The restaurant is pricey for dinner but nice for breakfast. Very nice place but don’t be afraid to make requests.

We booked a studio room and we’re wonderfully surprised how nice and spacious it was. The kitchenette was nicely stocked and everything very clean and well maintained.. The bonus was the outdoor deck overlooking the bay-gorgeous view! Also, the staff called to say I left my boots there, which I did not realize . Then they mailed them back to me! That was the nicest! Really great staff, friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back during the summer!

My friends (5) and I attended the murder mystery weekend this past weekend 1/26-18/24. We had a great time, and the mystery was great. The hotel was great, the food was excellent and despite the rainy weather we had a great girl's weekend. I would definitely recommend attending one of these.

Just returned from a fun weekend participating in the Murder Mystery Weekend at Montauk Manor. The accommodations were pleasant. We had a 1BR with a kitchenette. Nicely decorated and cozy. Monte’s is the restaurant at the hotel. We enjoyed buffet food and hor’s douvres from the restaurant as part of the mystery murder weekend. The food was delicious! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The murder mystery team made the event exciting and fun. They were super friendly. I highly recommend Montauk Manor, Monte’s and participating in a Murder Mystery Weekend! (They host all over the country).
