Hartman's Briney Breezes is in a great location; just walk to the beach. But what is even better is the owner. Very accommodating and very friendly. We wanted to use one of the charcoal BBQ grills that are located throughout the property, however we didn't have any charcoal and the local grocery store was closed. I asked the owner if there were any stores that were open. He told me 'probably not', but then gave me his own bag of charcoal to use. The family barbecue was saved! Other things to note: the room we had was very large, it easily accommodated our family of four and two adult bikes (plus it had a kitchen). We'll be returning to Hartman's Briney Breezes for our annual vacation going forward.

This is my second time staying at Briney Breezes and it has been great! The hotel is well maintained, clean, and with excellent WiFi. The owner is extremely accommodating and nice, allowing us to check in and check out late. The rooms have everything you need, beds are really comfortable, and the kitchenette has everything you need to have breakfast or cook a quick meal. Although we did not drive there, there is plenty of parking if you come by car.

My daughter & I made a last minute trip to Montauk for 2 nights. Great place to stay. Room was immaculate. Perfect amount of supplies in the kitchen. Great balcony & view. The room had a lovely smell to it that was so welcoming & lovely. Perfect location. Loved it. Can’t wait to return.

We stayed for one night at the beginning of April and have nothing but wonderful things to say. Check in was a breeze, our room was clean and ready for us, they even had the heat on so the room was warm at arrival which was great since it was windy and chilly out. The bed was comfortable, the shower had good pressure and the kitchenette is perfect for longer stays, which we already have our wheels working for next year, there’s a path to the beach right across the street and it’s a pretty private area with only a few people wandering but again it was very windy and still cold. We had a king corner which felt so roomy with a small table and two chairs for sitting. The deck had two lounge chairs and a small table with a view of the water. The price is amazing for the location. There is a pool that wasn’t open yet but hope to try one day.

The perfect place to stay while in Montauk. Managers are great. Rooms spacious and immaculate. Across street to own secluded part of beach. Efficiency with balcony. Beach chairs and towels provided. Very family friendly.

Second time staying here and it's always a treat. Atmosphere is friendly, casual and inviting without any of the pretension of the Hamptons. Rooms are immaculate and well-sized. Owners couldn't be nicer and more accommodating. Access to an amazing/secluded beach is steps away. A prefect secret spot in magical Montauk!

Our room was clean and bright, large and well-appointed (fridge, microwave, small oven & stove, dishes, utensils, etc). The location is great -- right across the street is the path for beach access (17M) -- and Briney's provides towels and beach chairs. There is also a pool on site, as well as grills, outdoor tables with umbrellas, and cornhole. It's a quiet spot but close enough to town to be walkable. Really the best of both worlds. We felt lucky to snag a room and hope to return!

Fantastic property in a great location. Basically on the beach and they even supply you with a beach chair and towel. Rooms are nice, well supplied, I recommend a second floor room with a view. The gentleman that checked us in, maybe the owner, was very friendly and helpful. Saw him a view times during our brief stay and he always asked how we were doing and if we needed anything.
