We might as well stay in an IBIS BUDGET rather than an IBIS STYLE given what's on offer in the rooms now! At least, in a BUDGET, we'll know why we can't find anything in the rooms as equipment, but the price will be in line with what we get. We booked a standard room for 2 adults. Upon arrival, a room with a double bed and an open sofa/camp bed equipped with bed linen... We're only two adults! I still don't know why this camp bed/sofa was open. NO SHELVES to put any of our things down. Nothing to put our clothes on for the night, just a small wicker armchair for two in a corner and a table like a side table for a sick person's bed (that sets the tone...). BEDSIDE TABLES: for one, it's a crate that you find at greengrocers and the other a small plastic stool in the style of a vintage tam/tam. Suffice to say that putting a watch, glasses, book, etc. is impossible!! No alarm clock or even a time indicated on the TV. The TV: you need to have a BAC+7 to understand how it works. The volume, I couldn't find it, so it's set so low that in bed you can't hear it. I understand that the sound needs to be limited, but to this extent... In the bathroom: Wow! Two towels per person. What luxury! This is the much-vaunted standard that the person at reception told me about. Obviously, there's no mini fridge like in Spanish hotels, for example (in the summer, especially in Montauban where it's always very hot), and guests don't have the option of drinking cold drinks. Not a single little bottle of water offered either. Not a small kettle with mini doses of coffee/tea/sugar/little biscuits. Anyway, as I said, nothing to put on. A good way to put nothing (Be careful, everything is designed... in their favor). A cardboard/plastic cup (in glass: wouldn't it be more ecological and more "classy" because some people also have allergies to plastic in their mouths to drink from this material). In addition, I haven't yet found out what the lid inserted into the cup with an incision in this seal is for. To put the toothbrush in? No idea... When you leave the room, no light turns on automatically, so it's dark until you reach the elevator (room 1101 on the 1st floor). Breakfast: then, the choice is minimalist. A long rectangular white earthenware plate, dessert plate style, as a tray. Whoever thought of this article must never have tried to put anything on it and cross the room with it to get back to their table, otherwise they would have put a vulgar basic tray, much more practical. It slips!! But who is this super intelligent/probably very expensive person who could have created this kind of room decoration? Have they ever tested what they create? We wonder... Afterwards, when you talk to the reception staff and ask them "what can make the difference between IBIS BUDGET

Après une journée marquée par les imprévus liés aux intempéries + une panne sur l’autoroute, un remorquage, des appels sans fin auprès d’un loueur de voiture qui ne m’a jamais répondu, je suis arrivée dans votre établissement le 20 mai aux alentours de minuit, épuisée et stressée. Et là… un accueil comme on en voit rarement. Un plateau repas m’attendait, préparé avec attention. Le réceptionniste, d’une gentillesse remarquable, m’a accompagnée jusqu’à ma chambre pour m’éviter de redescendre. Un geste simple, mais profondément humain. Le lendemain matin, l’équipe en réception m’a accueillie avec un sourire sincère et une question qui m’a touchée : « Comment allez-vous après toutes ces péripéties ? » Ne pouvant pas rentrer après ma formation, je suis restée une nuit de plus. J’aurais préféré rentrer à la maison mais, encore une fois, tout à été parfait. Dans un monde où tout va vite, où l’on se sent parfois invisible, cette attention, cette considération, m’ont profondément touchée. Merci à toute l’équipe de l’Ibis Styles Montauban.
