Never judge a book by its cover. If you drive past the Hotel Chez Alys you would think it was a tired motel past its best. However it is part of the 'Contact Hotal' alliance, which seems to be setting very good standards. It may have been an old motel once, but has been subject to extensive renovation throughout. The rooms are on a level with ibis budget, but with additional touches that differentiate the two brands giving a next-level quality at a budget price. On arriving at Chez Alys after hours, the book-in terminal outside the main entrance was easy to use and dispensed a key with the access code for the front door. The room, which was standard motel size, has all new decoration and fittings, including a new aircon unit which was essential during the recent heatwave. In the morning the breakfast was excellent and offered a very good range of options which are missing from breakfasts associated with other 'budget' hotels. On the whole I would thoroughly recommend Chez Alys and will continue to use other 'Contact Hotels' due to their seemingly consistent quality at I price I can afford, which represents very good value for money.

Correct hotel, clean litter but uncomfortable ears, badly soundproofed room, the worst being the deep breakfast, we were 4, arrived at 3 different times from 7:30 to 8:30, there was nothing to eat, no winehouses, Some have not had fruit juice, others no bread, others no cups... Some have never seen such a badly managed hotel in the Accor group in the morning, I was removed my plate while I had not even started eating! It was clean, alongside there were visiblely finished meal plates (slippers, wallpapers in the cup, etc.) that were there for 20 minutes. It's a disgraceful, unqualified and uninvested staff, behind the counter while there's nothing to eat, I never saw that in my life as I go to the hotel in the group at least 2 times a month. The restaurant is nice but nothing extraordinary, correct portions, little cooked pizza with very fine pasta but rather good, it is a ”dick crown” pizza style that will not like everyone, but the restaurant at night is the only positive point, The hotel is very comfortable and very comfortable and very comfortable.
