Fabulous hotel at the bottom of the slopes and only a short walk into the village. Hotel is scrupulously clean. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend.

This lovely, cozy hotel that is owned by a family has all the amenities one could ask for when planning a ski trip for a week. The ski lockers have direct access to the slopes and are located near the main lifts. The lively après-ski bar and the nice sauna are perfect for some post-skiing relaxation. Additionally, the dinners are four-course meals and always leave a lasting impression.

Our second visit to this wonderful, stunning and friendly hotel. As before, Florence and her team could not have looked after us better. We had a group of 18 adults and they handled our party wonderfully. The food is varied and of an extremely high standard. The rooms are stylish and well sized. The position of the hotel is perfect! A few yards to the nearest lift (And to the lively apres Umbrella bar- great atmosphere and music!) and a stone's throw away from bars, shops and restaurants. We love this place and would highly recommend to anyone. We will be back for sure!

Really lovely little ski hotel and bustling apres ski bar. Sits right on the slopes by ski school drop off and the main Jandri lift. Super friendly staff and the food is fantastic if you have the half board. We would definitely recommend it as a hotel. Only thing Les Deux Alpes … we made the mistake of going at half term.. lifts are old and long waits for all chairs and gondolas. We normally go to Zermatt and this is definitely not zermatt as ski experiences go. Hotel is itself a super lovely choice.

We have spent one week at Hotel Cote Brune with the kids (4 and 6 years old) in February 2024. Bedrooms are spacious, splendid and very well suited for a family. The half board offers excellent value for money (very good breakfast and excellent cuisine with a nice choice of options for the 3-courses dinner). The hotel location directly on the ski slopes, convenient ski lockers and great shared facilities of the hotel (spa and couch area) add to the excellent quality of the offer.

We stayed in hotel with our family. 2 adults 2 kids (7 & 10) we had 3rd floor room the room is modern well laid out plenty of storage but dark. No kettle/coffee maker in the room. The stairs is very steep to the mezzanine. Rooms were clean bathrooms nice shower only. Ski locker is 1 person wide with 1 small bench (2 people to sit on) for all residents hotel. there was a large locker for non residents. We had 4 persons skiing but storage for just 3. No way to fit 4 in the locker. Umbrella bar is there for lunch with chips/burgers/hotdogs. Lively apres ski until 7pm music can be heard in hotel. Didn’t visit the spa but it must be booked 30min time slot at reception. Resturant a big let down. We ate out most of the time despite paying 1/2 board, very limited for vegetarian or children (only chicken & potatoe/pasta. No chips). 10 yr old shouted in his face for getting off his seat. When did eat never had desert as it just took too long for service. Breakfast was fine but short window when getting out for ski school. No apres ski snack. Overall would not recommend for young family. Maybe teenagers who can use the apres ski and spa. Would not recommend or stay againq Overall disappointed

This is absolutely not a family friendly hotel. There is no family room, area for children to play, any toys or games, there is no access for a buggy into the hotel or anywhere to store it. The ski locker is a corridor that is unusable if there is more than two people using it at the same time. The staff are unfriendly at best and can be rude and obnoxious if you ask for chips for the children at dinner or if you enquire about anything dinner related. They had no children’s menu for dinner, yet the restaurant serves lunch to the public during the day and there is a children’s menu which they would not offer us in the evenings. I had a 3 year old and 8 month old on this trip and there was nothing child friendly or anything for me to do other than keep them in the room. A family room or games room with a child friendly area would to me would indicate a family friendly property, of which there are none. When we asked where we could keep the buggy we were told we could fold it and put it on top of the ski locker. The ski locker had no lid on it so it would have fallen through on top of our skis and gear and gotten stuck or damaged or both. I tried to have a drink on the deck in the sun one day and was told the tables were for lunch time customers only. As a resident I was refused service. Sound insulation in the rooms is very poor, you can hear absolutely everything in the hallway, and rooms next door. We booked half board and there was no wine or beer included or afternoon snacks. Breakfast is a short window from 8-9.30am which is very short if trying to get kids out to ski school, even with a screaming baby staff kept clearing away the food instead of offering to help and leave a morsel of food. Overall a very negative experience, unhelpful staff, restaurant manager seemed to enjoy seeing how poorly he could treat us and any requests seemed like we were creating nothing but hassle.

Hotel is modern and clean. Rooms are good size, beds are very comfortable and the shower is excellent. Location is excellent. However, the children were not welcome. I would not recommend for families with children under 14. The dinner service started at 7pm but was slow. There were no child friendly options, no chips, pizza, burgers, chicken goujons. They were given limited choice for dinner such as mash/ pasta and veal. On the last night they even ran out of pasta (which had been our go to for the week) and a group of children aged between 3 and 10 were offered gnocchi and turkey. The children were well behaved. The manager / waiter of the restaurant was impatient and rude to the children in particular but also with the adults at times too. He barked at my parents (both in their mid-70’s) when they asked if it would be possible to get a bowl of soup. There was little respect for the customer. Despite the rooms and location being excellent we will not be returning to this hotel. Other things to note: no wine included with half board, no afternoon tea, ski lockers very cramped, if travelling by large bus then bus has to park 150m from hotel. We didn’t attend spa.

This is a review for the restaurant only as we are not residents. Please avoid this restaurant for lunch!!! I placed a booking at the beginning of November 2023 for our New Year’s Day lunch for our family of 6 people. This was confirmed in an email from the restaurant. We arrived only 6 mins late as we took the wrong slope down and had to walk to the restaurant. When we arrived the waitress said that our table was NOT available and the kitchen was closed!!! What restaurant on earth or in a ski resort for that matter does not allow 6 minutes of leeway time? We explained that it was only 6 minutes and the booking was made nearly 2 months prior! She said there was nothing she could do and that we had to find something else. At no point did the restaurant contact me at 2.30pm to ask if we were on our way. She said because you made the booking such a long time ago we didn’t know if you were still coming ***!! What sort of restaurant policy is that?? I explained that I had a confirmation email and at no point had we ever cancelled. I said all you had to do was contact me to check the booking and to make sure we were still attending. The replied the waitress gave was she couldn’t find the email to get my contact details!! Even though she seemed to know that it was a booking made a couple of months ago. I then produced the email confirmation that the restaurant had sent me and she still said there was nothing she could do. May I also point out that there were only 2 other tables taken on the terrace so was hardly busy! After I continually protested how disappointing and disgusted I was for a restaurant to shut their kitchen when they have a reservation (I know we were 6 minute's late but really ? !) the waitress did suggest another location for us to eat. This was not the cuisine we wanted after looking forward to our new years lunch after the positive reviews about the food at this minute's. I do also want to point out ( which I explained to the waitress) the restaurants own website states this winter opening times of 12-3pm..I showed this to her and said we are 25 minutes from your advertised closing time and she couldn’t argue but still insisted there was no table and we had to go elsewhere. PLEASE AVOID AND GO TO THE MANY OTHER VERY ACCOMMODATING RESTAURANTS LOCALLY.
