La concha is a beautiful & historic hotel in the heart of beautiful Key West. The location is unbeatable & the balcony rooms, while smaller than other standard rooms, offers excellent people watching & beautiful blue sky views. A parking space is included, which is great to have right on Duval & Fleming Streets. The staff was mostly very friendly, but the service level varied. At one point in our stay, the front desk went out of their way to make us a key card to use the microwave located in the conference room. When I asked to use it the next day, another staff member says there wasn't one in the building. I went & took a photo through the window to show him. He then said he could not grant me access as the desk had previously done. No biggie but a little frustrating. Our main issue with the hotel was HIDDEN FEES. Upon arrival, we were told we would be charged a fee of over $80 per room as a ”destination fee,” which was never explicitly disclosed & was certainly not fairly advertised. I asked about waiving this fee & the night desk said it was possible to check & see with day manager. The next day, they insisted the fee could not be waived & were unwilling to help with it further. I let them know I booked through a 3rd party prepaid, it said fees & taxes were included. They said read the fine print. They charged my card for the fees. Not being forthcoming and clear about the destination fee was the issue I had. And having parts of the hotel amenities, including outdoor areas, being closed off during the stay make this resort/destination fee more of a slap in the face. To highlight this point, the staff at this ”destination” hotel warned us that if we see some stuff a little run down or not in operation, its because the hotel just got bought & things wouldn't get straightened out until the new company takes over. Also minor issues for such a pricey hotel included missing slats on the inner balcony door & similar minor cosmetic issues. Other than that it is a beautiful building & top-notch location. Overall the experience was very enjoyable. P.S. The awesome bar tender makes delicious key lime martinis!

This is a very cute mini inn. On white road, not far from Hemingway's former residence, lighthouse, Western Reef Cemetery, Duval Street. The room was lovely and there was a mini pool (similar to a jacuzzi) The artist room faces the street, and there are motorcycles blowing the street at night, and there is unavoidable noise. The ”Hemingway House” should be better. Breakfast is very simple, all bought now. Don't expect too much. (Last picture) Parking is free, very good. Overall very satisfied.

Parking is free, then we are a suite, and finally upgraded into two suites, and it is very luxurious, the downstairs pool is also beautiful, but a little floating, but the breakfast is great, the fruit is rich, there are many things. The feeling of living is very good, value for money, but did not take photos, but the price is very high.

The hotel is located not far from the entrance of Key West. The environment is very good, the facilities are relatively complete, but the air-conditioning sound is a bit loud, and others are satisfied. There is a lake behind the hotel and there is a small beach where you can sit and enjoy the scenery! You can order your own breakfast every morning, wei dao is also delicious, there is a big supermarket opposite the hotel, shopping is more convenient! Key West is not very big, so it is basically 10 minutes to drive to, and the price/performance ratio is not high. I recommend this hotel🏨

The hotels in the United States are all beautifully built and the pools are large. Very comfortable, the child played for a long time. The interior of the room is indeed incomparable with domestic ones. Parking is free. The beds are one meter five. Sleeping with children is not wide enough.

Our first time in the Keys, for a weddnig, and we chose to stay at this hotel. The lobby was fairly nice, as far as lobbies go, and the front desk staff was nice. That is pretty much where the niceties end. We got into our room, which smelled moldy and our shower had a lot of bugs in it. Disgusting right? We requested a new room and thankfully we were immediately moved. The new room still smelled a little moldy, but it was faint and there were no bugs so we stayed. A friend of mine was staying here as well & he had the same problem with bugs and his second room smelled extremely moldy! Not sure how he stayed in there with that smell. Overall, room cleanliness was a challenege to say the least. The couch in our room was stained, the floor just didn't feel clean and I had my shoes on, and I found a wash cloth that appeared to have been used but never replaced! We had a couple technical issues as well, one of the nightstand lights didn't work but maintenance was able to fix that by replacing the bulb. Our phone, however, did not work at all and after a few tries at new phone cords, maintenance could not get it to work. Thank God we didn't have any emergencies otherwise we would have had to ride the elevator all the way down to the lobby to get help! The lighting in the room was terrible, its pretty dark even with the curtains drawn back. The bathroom shower leaked all over the floor and water ran under the door into the sink area. The poolside bar was pretty good, inflated prices of course, but the food & drinks they delivered was good. The pool area was pretty but unaccessable the entire time we were there. It was apparently being renovated but the only thing we saw was someone painting the deck and draining the pool. The fact that this hotel charges a resort fee is a crime in and of itself. The entire building needs to undergo mold removal, deep cleaning & each room needs renovating. When we get a chance to make the trip to the Keys again I promise we will never stay in this hotel again. To be honest, I doubt we will ever stay in a Hilton again if we can help it because of the negative experience we had here.

Great location if you want to be further away from the downtown and avoid the noise, it is close to the airport so you may hear planes fly in occasionally but I wasn't bothered. The rooms are clean and modernized to look great, free basic breakfast is included, and a staff member is available to help with booking activities in the lobby. One thing I didn't appreciate are the hidden costs they at no point told me would come. Upon check-in I was told I had already paid for everything and only a $50 hold would be placed on my card for my stay, a few days after departure however I receive a charge of approximately $30/night for my stay. ”Resort Fees” I was a no point informed of. Expect Hidden costs after leaving should you stay here. Otherwise clean and neat hotel

This hotel was great. The location is awesome because is right at the traffic light when you get to Key West. The room was big with an extra sitting space and 2 TVs with a microwave and a fridge. The pool was great and have a full bar and gazebos perfect for families or friends. Theresa was very helpful and she paid attention to details and have a great guest services oriented mind. GGuest UserWe stopped for one night on our way to Key West. I wish we booked more nights here. We had a great stay. Aaron at the front desk was extremely helpful at checkin. He was very friendly and personable. This hotel is lucky to have him as a part of their front desk team. The lobby was beautiful with great views. We had a lot of fun playing with the complimentary games provided. We spend most of our time at the pool, which was large and lovely. Great views. The Tiki Bar made awesome drinks, one of the best pina colada’s that I ever had. We ate dinner there too, which worked out so well because our kids could keep playing at the pool and we all had fun after playing games outside. Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast the next day…really good! Try the breakfast panini sandwich, you won’t regret it! I see people talking about the resort fee. When you consider this hotel doesn’t charge for parking or wifi, offers complimentary kayak and paddle board rentals, a shuttle between their hotel and sister hotel with access to these amenities too… the resort fee is not so expensive. I’ve stayed at hotels with resort fees that charge extra for parking and internet, and include NO amenities except access to a pool and workout facility. At least this hotel gives you something for the money you spend. Thank you for a great stay, we will absolutely be back. For longer next time!

GGuest UserThis was our 3rd time staying here and it will not be our last. New owners took over a couple days before this visit, just hope they don't mess it up (haha). This was our first time bring our kids, (12&16) they enjoyed it as well. Staff is very accommodating and the guests are like family. It seems like everyone staying there knows one another. That type of repeat business says it all.

GGuest UserFirst, if you are traveling with a family and need some separation, the junior suites in the coconut wing are perfect. I like the coconut wing over the hammock wing. The hammock wing rooms have a view of the trees and it is a sleepy beach with little sun. The water activities here are great. You can paddle board and kayak any time. They have fishing charters and jet skis right at the dock for you to charter/rent. The towel attendees are friendly. The food and beverage credit is good for any meal or drink. We found dry rocks to be affordable and very good. The activities they plan every day are fun and Lisa is spectacular. They offer a scavenger hunt with a prize of a free alcoholic drink. The front desk staff are very attentive and respond using the chat feature on the app. We are diamond and were not upgraded, but they did allow us to move to the coconut wing in a junior suite (it was considered a down grade, but we loved it). We also were given a 1 pm check out, even though we requested 2 pm. This hotel is very family and dog friendly, but also is romantic. I highly recommend this hotel and if you are a Marriott and Hilton person, I prefer this hotel over Playa Largo.

GGuest UserWe were a bit worried upon arriving to the hotel because it looked more like a motel, but it turned out that there are also 2-stories houses of 8 rooms each (4 on each floor, facing both ways) and that’s where our room was. Well I don’t know about the motel-like rooms, but the ones in the little houses (and ours) were charming, very cosy, clean, comfortable and in good condition. Each room has a shared balcony with the room next door. Ours was on the first floor so that we had nothing but the clear blue sky above our heads while eating the grab-and-go breakfast (porridge, yoghurt, orange, apple juice and mini blueberry muffin): simple, nice and nourishing. Small flaws: 1) the mattresses were a little too soft. Not sure if that was intentional or if they were a bit tired; 2) the front door was a bit stuck, we had to push it hard to open it; 3) the hotel is located near an airport where helicopters routinely take of or land late at night or early in the morning. Can be quite noisy. A very enjoyable stay all-in-all. I recommend. Right next to it is the Brutus seafood restaurant that I also warmly recommend for its excellent food and nice staff (and cosy atmosphere), all for a reasonable price.

GGuest UserI've been staying at Ocean Pointe since the early 90's and have always enjoyed my stay. I suggest opting for the 2 bedroom model for the master bedroom view of the ocean. The one bedroom units have the bedroom next to the entry door and exterior walkway - the extra money will be rewarded with the view from your bedroom. The resort is convenient to some of the best restaurants in the Upper and Middle Keys as well as Robbie's Mariana and other tourist stops. Even when our destination was Key West we first stop for the night at Ocean Pointe so as to start fresh in the morning to continue our drive south at a relaxed pace. This trip was strictly for relaxation at the resort and it fit the bill perfectly.

GGuest UserI booked two rooms for our friends both rooms were clean and the location was nice but our room the tv did not work well we called three times over two days yet got no responce.the most disapointing part was the resort facilities were not open the pool bar we never saw open and the bar at the waters edge was only open twice we called and was told the bartender couldn’t make it. We found TJs down the road and spent some evenings at that resort. The breakfast was not enjoyed by anyone in our party. I cannot recommend this resort.

SSUNINGSuper awesome hotel, in the north of Key West Island, about ten minutes' drive from the main port area and attractions area of Malloey Square. The hotel has a free shuttle bus. The room is just going out to enjoy the beach, the white sand and fine waves hammock, it is wonderful, and there are a group of long-billed birds taking a leisurely stroll, and immediately decided to stay for another day. There is no problem for one bed for one adult and one baby. The breakfast is relatively simple but not bad. The restaurant has a good environment. The lobster set for lunch is dazzling, enough for four adults for $198. The hotel has a swimming pool with parrots and sea turtles. Parking in front of the room is convenient. Across the road from the hotel is a big supermarket and fast food restaurant, pizza hut, and discount clothing store Ross is super convenient for shopping. And when we arrived at the hotel, we directly asked for the price of a twin room at $300 per night. We checked Ctrip on the spot and ordered it online immediately. awesome!
