Beautiful pool with bar. Great location as the hotel is within walking distance to a grocery store and restaurants. Bicycles and scooters available at the hotel to rent. The free airport shuttle and shuttle to downtown are wonderful."

"The location is very good, right next to the southernmost scenic spot. The public viewing facilities in the hotel are also readily available, but personally I recommend not to choose those expensive ocean view rooms when booking, because the good views are in the public facilities The view of the room is average, so it is not necessary and the price will be much worse."

"La concha is a beautiful & historic hotel in the heart of beautiful Key West. The location is unbeatable & the balcony rooms, while smaller than other standard rooms, offers excellent people watching & beautiful blue sky views. A parking space is included, which is great to have right on Duval & Fleming Streets. The staff was mostly very friendly, but the service level varied. At one point in our stay, the front desk went out of their way to make us a key card to use the microwave located in the conference room. When I asked to use it the next day, another staff member says there wasn't one in the building. I went & took a photo through the window to show him. He then said he could not grant me access as the desk had previously done. No biggie but a little frustrating. Our main issue with the hotel was HIDDEN FEES. Upon arrival, we were told we would be charged a fee of over $80 per room as a ”destination fee,” which was never explicitly disclosed & was certainly not fairly advertised. I asked about waiving this fee & the night desk said it was possible to check & see with day manager. The next day, they insisted the fee could not be waived & were unwilling to help with it further. I let them know I booked through a 3rd party prepaid, it said fees & taxes were included. They said read the fine print. They charged my card for the fees. Not being forthcoming and clear about the destination fee was the issue I had. And having parts of the hotel amenities, including outdoor areas, being closed off during the stay make this resort/destination fee more of a slap in the face. To highlight this point, the staff at this ”destination” hotel warned us that if we see some stuff a little run down or not in operation, its because the hotel just got bought & things wouldn't get straightened out until the new company takes over. Also minor issues for such a pricey hotel included missing slats on the inner balcony door & similar minor cosmetic issues. Other than that it is a beautiful building & top-notch location. Overall the experience was very enjoyable. P.S. The awesome bar tender makes delicious key lime martinis!"

"The room has a very beautiful color scheme. The sea is just across the road from the window. The view is beautiful and not noisy at night. There is a small living room (with a sofa bed) and a kitchen. The kitchenware is complete and very practical. There is a free parking space and it is also close to the supermarket. It only costs a dozen dollars to take a taxi to popular attractions (such as Hemingway's former residence). The only problem is that the quilt at night is very thin, similar to a blanket, and it is a bit cold. You need to ask the hotel for an extra quilt. But overall, I am very satisfied and I will probably come again next time."

"Fantastic stay. Levi at front desk was so accommodating. Showed me two available rooms and let me choose. Actually walked with me to the rooms. We weekend in the Keys every couple months,and it’s been a long time since we’ve encountered such friendly service. Kudos to Levi.  It was our first time staying at the Pier House. We will definitely be back. Thank You Pier House. We had a great time."

"Great hotel at an affordable price in Key West. Well-equipped rooms, which have everything you need for a relaxing stay. The hotel has a great fitness center, a swimming pool, a jacuzzi with a bar. There is also a shuttle to the city center. I will come back here again."

"The environment is good, the service is warm, the facilities are very good for vacation and leisure. Breakfast is very good and there are more varieties. Although the room is four people, it is not crowded at all, the bath is also very convenient, the hot water is very adequate, in short, the experience is good."

"Overall it was good, the service was good, the front desk staff was very patient, and introduced the various facilities and opening hours carefully and in detail at the beginning. The supplies in the room were also very complete, and the toiletries were all L'Occitane."

"It was the end of the year so the price was too high and it wasn't cost effective, but it was okay because I was able to eat a simple breakfast! It was a shame that they didn't cook the eggs but just warmed them up."
