The property owner was very communicative about any news for the area. She sent updates about the possible loss of electricity due to heat and fires.

Monroe trip The property was accurately described. The problems I had in communicating with the host ahead of time was my own lack of online experience, I'm sure. However, it would have been nice to have a way to talk to her when we were there. The neighborhood dogs barked all night long the first night, so we went to the police in Richfield, who directed us to call the county Sheriff. After that it was better. The directions on the refrigerator told us to ***** the beds and put the linens in the laundry hamper, but there was no hamper. Otherwise, everything was good.

Great weekend retreat We had a wonderful weekend trip! The house looked small from the outside, but more spacious on the inside and plenty of space to accommodate four people and two dogs. Everything was clean and organized. We cooked some meals in the kitchen and enjoyed marshmallows over the fire pit (courtesy of Julia). The two hot springs were within a 5-10 min drive from the house and we had a lovely soak at both! Beds were comfortable and we liked the new appliances. Only thing to take note is the neighborhood has off-leash dogs that roam around the streets, so keep an eye out when you walk outside at night. There’s also several dogs at the houses next door, so there was lots of barking. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and appreciate all the cozy amenities!

Going Home This is the house my mother was born in (in 1932). It was my grandma’s house and I have a few memories of it as a child. Then it became my uncles house and I visited often. I was so exited to be back in it and the host has done wonderful things with it. The stove is the same stove my grandma had put in in the early 1900’s. I loved my stay and can’t wait to get back.

Our version of camping We booked this house to be close to family camping at Castle Rock in the Freemont Indian State Park. The house was very clean and comfortable. It was close to Mystic Hot Springs, which was so fun. I would recommend this house.
