I see that most reviews are old and my experience is totally different from what is reported here. There is no breakfast and no reception. On the day of check-in I received a message asking me to make an appointment for check-in. Room was on the second floor so we had to climb our luggage two flights of stairs. We were just given the keys. I had a couple of questions and it turns out, the answers were incorrect in both cases. The room is tiny and has two tiny windows. The windows are also facing a wall. So it is very dark and frankly, sort of depressing. If you have 2 suitcases, forget about opening them in the room. While the room is small, you can imagine that the bathroom is tiny as well. We were there 5 nights and towels were changed after the first night only. If they are to change the towel and clean the room only once for a 5-day stay they should do it in the middle of the stay. The only bright side is that it is close to the beach, if you care about this.

We stayed in Palazzo Fiscaiolo for the 2nd time & Andrea still maintains the same enthusiasm. Andrea is always eager to ensure that you have a fantastic holiday.The Palazzo is located up a narrow street next to the Old Town which is very convenient to stroll around and dine in the great selection of fantastic Restaurants that Monopoli has to offer.The Palazzo also has a roof terrace, which is great for sunbathing. The breakfast on offer is very good also. The Palazzo is beautiful decorated & spotlessly clean. Monopoli also has a train station which is very convenient for visiting other towns is the area. Andrea & Anna are extremely nice hosts.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in the first week of July and had a nice experience in this budget friendly accommodation near one of the main beaches in Monopoli (Cala Porta Vecchia). It was only a few minutes walk away from the beach and this was a big plus! Even before check-in, the owner Andrea was such a pleasure to communicate with and gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. He prepared a nice breakfast every morning on the terrace. We had the room on the ground floor and it had everything we needed. Just enough space for our three pieces of luggage, a TV with Netflix, good sized bathroom, and well functioning AC for the hot summer. It never got loud even though we were located on the ground floor and our door opened right into the street. This is probably because the accommodation, while located central to everything, is on a quiet street with very little foot traffic. This was important to us since we prefer central locations that still provide a quiet & intimate experience. Our room was very modern and clean and it rivaled what other rooms in the more expensive accommodations in the city center looked like from my research. Overall a pleasant stay, great value for the price and Andrea was such a wonderful host!

Clean, cute and centrally located hotel in the heart of Monopoli. Andrea was the best host, and repeatedly went out of his way to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast on the sunny roof was good, Italian breakfasts are more limited than other countries but there was a plentiful selection of tomatoes, patties, cheese, yogurt, sliced meat, juice, fruit and coffee. We were there in the thick of summer and the air conditioning was a bit limited in its ability to cool off the room, but Andrea promptly bought us a fan to help which solved the problem. Generally we loved Monopoli and were glad we chose this adorable seaside town versus inland Ostuni. Note that while you can park in a lot for 30-40 euro a day, if you have a bit of patience you can find street parking not too far from the hotel. All in all, great choice for a stay in Monopoli!

Our host and the owner Andrea, could not do enough to ensure our stay in Monopoli and surrounding areas was second none. Restaurant, beach and places of interest are not to be missed. Breakfast on the roof terrace is simply the best…our room exceptional and the location in the Bart of the old town. We left having gained a new family member. 11-10 👑🙏🏼 Anthony - London.

Een exclusieve b&b, we hebben ons enorm vermaakt. Andrea de gastheer is een geweldige man die vriendelijk is en goed voor zijn gasten is. Hij is enorm professioneel en is erg gastvrij, we voelden ons echt welkom in het hartje van Monopoli, hij dacht met ons mee en gaf ons tips en tricks om hier een leuke tijd door te brengen. Een super mooie pand in dit historische stad en erg uniek in zijn concept en bevelen deze b&b erg aan. Dank je wel Andrea voor dit avontuur we komen graag terug!
