Nice location. Reasonably priced. Big issue was the smell of the room. Smelled like someone threw up and the cleaners just couldn’t get the smell out. I had to open the window and turn on the provided fan.

My room was simply furnished, but perfectly fine. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent! Good place to stop, while walking the Offa's Dyke Path - and has the advantage of being the right side of town to start the walk to Pandy the next morning.

After reading some of the reviews on here we were a bit apprehensive but I think we must have stayed in a different hotel -our room was spotless loverly and warm the bathroom was small but again spotless- great bar and lounge area and the staff were brilliant and so friendly,definitely worth the money —Steve Halbert

Very tired building and rooms, not very clean, lots of dust, cobwebs and mould, old tired and broken fittings, very small bathroom with old fashioned and tired fittings. Situated on very noisy road not all windows functioning, only 2 power sockets in a room for 2 persons. Tv aerial hanging off wall so very poor reception, next to no wi-fi or phone signal

Avoid at all costs all night horrible rattle on machine attached to building went on all night mattress bumpy and springs in your back botel room still dirty fan was thick with dust and light fittings had to go and sleep in van at half 3 in morning absolute joke of a place

Room basic but clean. Mattress awful, could feel every spring and hard edging around it. The staff were friendly but we couldn't help notice that the barman had a dirty tshirt on and wore it the next day too! Good atmosphere in the bar though..

We stayed four nights. It's doubtful if our room was cleaned at all during that period. Also our room certainly needs up-dating. Beds and chair uncomfortable. The hotel's location is convenient for the town. Free parking Good breakfast though somewhat difficult to communicate our exact requirements to the kitchen.

This is an absolute horror The beds are like concreet, hard with broken springs, snelle, dirty and old. The bathroom is black of fungus. Not good at all. Only 1 star for the location and friendly staff.…......................................
