"The hotel is small, the room is not too much, but the bathroom is spacious, clean and well equipped. The back of the hotel is an open wheat field, especially quiet. It is also very close to Udawalawe National Park. There is also a large pool next to the pool. Swings, small stones are crazy, the restaurant is very good for breakfast and dinner, the only thing that needs to be improved is that the pool is not too clean, and the frog is swimming inside."
"The ventilation window of the bathroom is directly open to the outdoors. After turning on the light at night, mosquitoes will fly in and small geckos will climb in. The room may be because it is too humid and has a smell. However, the hotel's service was very good. We went to Safari the next morning because the off-road vehicle was stuck in the mud and delayed the time. We returned to the hotel late. The hotel also called to ask if we needed to set aside our breakfast."
"The safari in the hotel is relatively close, but the downtown area is a bit far away, there is nothing around, it is too dark after 6 o'clock, and there is no sputum, it is very deserted. There are ants on the ground, breakfast is good, overall, the price is expensive."

"We had 2 deluxe double rooms booked. So far so good. On arrival it looked like they didnt know we where coming. I need to mention, we were the only 3 guest in the whole resort. Check in was a bit bumpy, but we managed. After arrival we were asked for sinner, we only had to choices. Rice and curry, or chicken rice.....there are kayaks and a pedal boats available, but they will charge u 3500rs per person for half broken down kayaks even we it never mentioend anything sbout payment. So we didn't go. We took the pedal boat and were still charged. Nice birds around tho. We saw tucans and pelicans but still with no one around they still charged us upon check out. Food was ok, better go for rice and curry. 2500rs per person😜
Breakfast is chicken on toast eith pineapple, no sauce, no water, just 3, pieces of fruit. Chsrged 1500rs
We had own own ssfari booked so can't say much about their service. Upon check out they try to charge 15usd for the single occupancy even tho i booked 2 double rooms. So overall i wouldnt recommend the place, mot sure why all reviews are rhst positve. Pool was murky, **** laying around everywhere and overall i found the olace 20usd cheaper as we paid, just one day before arrival."

"Pros: Quiet and private environment, beautiful scenery, good quality breakfast and room service, good service.
Cons: Arrived around 3pm, and waited for a full hour to check in, almost collapsed. The room has no air conditioning and simple facilities. Open bathroom, don't take a shower at night, it will be cold."

Outstanding
SShuqingI wish the camp is cleaner and the camp management can be more transparent in the prices for all services provided.
The camp is in the middle of bushes, so it was very dark during the night, making the camp an ideal location to stargazing.
HhideshanyanA great hotel. There is only a wire fence between the hotel and Yala Nature Reserve, but the animals are not separated. You can see many animals in nature in the hotel. In the jungle without light pollution, the night sky is amazingly beautiful... …Dinner and breakfast were very sumptuous and delicious. Our guide Achi took us on a whole day of safari. His driving skills were superb. All the cars would give way to Achi when they saw him. This was obviously because of his professionalism in finding animals. The boss MAHESH was very enthusiastic and took the initiative to take a lot of photos for us. The quality of the photos was far above average. Unfortunately, I didn’t pay attention to the names of the other staff members, but each of them was very friendly and enthusiastic. In short, this was the whole experience for me and my children. My favorite hotel on our trip to Sri Lanka, my son can’t wait to go back!
GGuest UserA very magical travel experience. We went to the campground at 9 o'clock in the evening. The jeep was bumpy for ten minutes and felt almost sold. After we arrived, we found the new continent. Plus we didn’t eat. The taste of BBQ was average. But there are many small animals bowing their heads when eating. Accompanying, looking up is full of stars, very atmospheric
TTraveling TanOur recent stay at Mandara Rosen Yala was a genuinely pleasant experience. The hotel's commitment to cleanliness was evident, and the staff were consistently helpful, making our visit thoroughly enjoyable. Breakfast each morning provided a good start to the day, while the dinner buffet was particularly impressive, offering a fabulous spread that was a highlight of our evenings.
The hotel's serene atmosphere allowed us to relax and recharge, which was much appreciated after exploring the local area. We felt welcomed and valued as guests throughout our stay, thanks to the attentive service.
If our travels bring us back to Kataragama, Mandara Rosen Yala will certainly be our hotel of choice once more. It's an establishment that promises comfort and excellent dining experiences.
GGuest UserAll the staff were very kind and had a great stay.
We had a buffet breakfast and dinner, but none of them were delicious and enjoyed Sri Lankan food.
The hospitality of the hotel was transmitted by the manager at breakfast.
I would like to use it again.
