Für eine Übernachtung im Einzelzimmer (kleines Zimmer) habe ich €73,-- ohne Frühstück gezahlt. Das Hotel liegt im Mönchengladbacher Stadtteil Hardt, der sich ca. 6km außerhalb des Stadtzentrums befindet, die Fahrt in die Innenstadt oder nach Rheydt kann nur per Taxi oder Bus, welcher in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Hotel hält, erfolgen. Für diese Lage ist der Zimmerpreis überhöht und lässt sich auch nicht mit der "Nähe" zu Düsseldorf oder Köln rechtfertigen. Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war schon etwas älter, aber gepflegt und zweckmäßig. Ferner ist das Zimmer anstandslos sauber gewesen.

Neubau direkt am Bahnhof mit integriertem Restaurant. Alles neu, sauberes großes Zimmer und schönes Bad. Netter Empfang, Frühstück Standard aber nett angerichtet. Woher die 4 Sterne kommen sollen, ist allerdings unklar.
