Limehome Mönchengladbach Fliethstraße

I have stayed at the property a couple of times before but will never stay again after my last visit. When I walked in the apartment stank of stale cigarette smoke from an previous occupant. The smoke detectors had been covered over with toilet roll to stop them setting off the alarms. The bin had not been emptied from the previous occupant. The hook that was falling off in the bathroom at my last visit has now just been removed and a circle left on the wall where the hook used to be, The decor in the room is getting very scurfy and the apartment needs painting. It seams too be that Limehome is resting on its laurels and is not spending money on refurbishing the apartments to keep the original look. I would suggest to the Limehome management that they carry out inspections of the apartments and don't just go off the cleaning crew.

Overall the property is adequate as a business base for a short trip. Modern, conveniently located, spacious and reasonably appointed, it is functional rather than comfortable. My key worry was that I found two cockroaches in my room, which made me uncomfortable and concerned about the deep cleanliness of the room. Superficially it looked fine. I've reported it but got a bland acknowledgement which seemed to underplayed the significance of the insects.
