Self-driving by car from home, clockwise Hokkaido 1 Zhou Journey 4 Day stay is here at ”Monbetsu Prince Hotel”. I researched hotels around Monbetsu in advance, but since all hotels are Showa-like, the word of mouth evaluation was high among them, so I made a reservation. I didn't expect much from the ”Monbetsu Prince Hotel” (not related to that Prince), but when I came to the hotel, the foreign staff felt hard and professional. The hotel building itself looks old, but the inside of the building is cleanly maintained with color 々, and the room is small but renovated and not bad. The view from the room is good, the bath is a unit bus, but there is a large bath, so I think this is also good. I think the best thing was ”Breakfast Viking ♪” The variety of Japanese and Western foods was also substantial and delicious ♪ The bread is also fresh with homemade bread that seems to be baked on the spot. The hotel itself seems old, but it was a hotel with ingenuity and high satisfaction.

It's been a while since I last used it. The shuttle bus from the airport to the city was so crowded that there was standing room, and no one got off at the hotel one stop before, but 90% of the people on the bus got off at the Central Hotel. , headed to the hotel. To be honest, I was surprised that there weren't so many people using this service even during the holidays. The room was also kept clean and I felt comfortable using it. For dinner, we ate at Nagisa on the 2nd floor and were satisfied with the price, quantity, and taste. In addition to families, there are also multiple people using the facility alone, so I think they can use it without any hesitation. I visited for the purpose of drift ice. It was a cleaner hotel than I thought. I only went to the nearby store at night and went to sleep, so the evaluation of the facilities was difficult, but I think it was good overall. And the point is high that you can buy local specialty products with a 1F vending machine.

I chose it because it was ”a place with hot springs that I've never been to in eastern Hokkaido.” There are only campsites around, and it feels like an ”isolated island on land”. The sea and the hills, it was a relaxing scenery that you can't find in Japan. The beauty of the sunset and sunrise seen from the rooftop and rooms of the hotel was beyond words. The rooms are clean and spacious. There was also instant coffee for drinks. It was convenient because you can choose the amenities you want from the amenity buffet in front of the elevator. The public bath was spacious, including the waiting room and dressing room. There were quite a few visitors who took a day trip to the bath. There are 27 washrooms, which is nice. For dinner, plenty of locally sourced food was used. When I asked a question, he answered one by one about which production area. We enjoyed the fresh ingredients. It's not flashy, but it was wonderful that each dish was served on a clean plate and served as a course. Breakfast was a set meal. I was grateful for the system that allows me to take coffee from the drink bar to my room. The shop sells dairy products such as cheese from local farms, so I bought some. There is a coin laundry near the public bath and on the 3rd floor, so I used it. The staff was also kind and spoke frankly. It's a difficult place to visit, but it's a place where you can enjoy the ”luxury of doing nothing” and you'll definitely want to visit someday. I think that cost performance is not bad at the low 10,000 yen range even in the high season for one night with two meals.

The buffet at this hotel is the most exquisite, tasteful and seafood-rich of the ones I have ever eaten. Most people who come to this high-class hotel are looking forward to tasting the seafood that has just been brought from the Sea of Okhotsk. Therefore, shrimps and shellfish have more sashimi and are very fresh. Other mixed vegetables, tempura, fresh soup noodles, ice cream, etc. are also exquisitely delicious. However, there is not much cooking here, and people who can't eat raw, cool dishes may be worthless to stay here. In addition, this is a high-class hotel that is not tall but tastes good. For example, the room is not big, but the tatami is a small collapse in front of the window. There is a telescope, which is specially used to sit or lie down and watch birds. In the morning when the tide ebbs, the herons are looking for food at the bottom of the lake. It is still very happy to sit on the tatami and see the birds finally catch the fish. For example, there is a bookshelf in the lobby, with a variety of picture books, poems and books about the Okhotsk Sea (Japanese), magazines, you can bring back to the front desk to see. The hotel is completely surrounded by nature. There are no so-called tourist attractions around. There are very few people. Apart from watching nature, fishing, cycling, hot springs, playing table tennis and billiards at the hotel, there is nothing else to do. If you are lucky, you can meet Hokkaido red foxes, eagle and other wild animals while walking in the nearby Nature Centre. There is a small department selling local products. The nearest convenience store is about 7 kilometers away from the commissary and there is very little public transportation. If you don't drive, buy something you need and come over. The hotel staff's service was excellent, with 4 points because the hotel seemed to be less suitable for foreign tourists. I use Japanese to communicate, so the problem is not big, but if it is in English communication, various introductions may be omitted. The Chinese marked on the coffee machine is also automatically translated, very strange.

From Tokyo to Hokkaido, the first stop to enjoy the nature of Hokkaido Laiyun Gorge. There are many restaurants to choose from, and there are many hot springs surrounded by snowy mountains. Laiyun Pavilion MOUNTAIN RESORT 1923 is one of the hot spring hotels in the Yunxia area on the first and second floors. When I was collecting data, I was attracted by the stove in the lobby at a glance, and I decided to book it. It can provide a luxurious accommodation experience, and there is also a location for parking, suitable for friends traveling by car. Because most of our trips are around Laiyunxia, we booked directly for two nights. After driving, take a break and then arrive at dinner time. The first night and the second night of the reservation were different, and the price was of course a bit different. The limited ”food thing” during the first night of eating, the crab royal meal (JPY 18440) average HKD 960 per person has one berth and two meals. And there was only us that night. Other guests should eat the buffet (we chose this for the second night) very rich imperial meals, except that the meat is very tough, the others are delicious. Especially the steamed eggs and that meal. Hot pot is impeccable when it is cold. The key crab is one person, and there are many crab paste in the crab shell. The crab has been removed in advance, it is very convenient to eat, and I am not afraid to do not know how to remove the crab. The crab meat of the whole crab is full of a bowl, and the crab meat is very sweet and super satisfying. The last dessert ice cream is suitable for the end. We stayed in the same room for two nights, and it happened to be the open-air hot spring floor, which was super convenient. I lived in the room [8 stacks ~ 12 stacks], very spacious and comfortable. The decoration of the room is warm, the equipment is complete, there is a work desk, combing, TV, coffee table, etc. There are welcome snacks in the room. The ”first day of the year” is delicious. If you are interested, you can buy it in the store. There are also tea making utensils, and you can sigh tea in the room after soaking in the hot spring. There is a bathrobe in the cabinet, if the size is not suitable, you can pick up the right size in the lobby. In addition, when we came back after dinner, the mattress had helped to organize it. The bathroom is dry and wet. Because I went to the hot springs for two days, the bathtub in the room was actually useless. If you need toiletries, you have to take them in the lobby. The room is not placed. Although there are open-air hot springs, it is the first time that it is snowing/watching the snow scene. While soaking in the hot springs, feeling the cold air, the experience is very special. After soaking in the hot springs, you can also buy coffee and milk to drink, and there will be a resting place. In fact, there is a large bathing area in Laiyun Pavilion. There are more people than the open-air hot springs, so I didn't go. In addition to the hot springs, I don't want to stay in the room and go to the play area. Not too big, there are several game consoles and doll machines to entertain. Breakfast and dinner for the second night will be served in the same restaurant and are buffet style. The next day's one berth and two meals are JPY 15140. Average HKD 790 per person. If you stay for two nights like me, you can consider this arrangement. The dinner buffet will have roast crab feet, sashimi, sushi, etc. The CP value is really high. In addition, there are tempura, teppanyaki, etc., all prepared by chefs in the open kitchen, each one is very attractive. There are many choices, whether you like seafood or meat, you can meet it. Of course, there will be no less desserts and fruits. The breakfast two meals are roughly the same, but there are a few changes in style. But the most attractive thing is that you can make your own seafood rice. Other cooked foods are not bad. Japanese breakfast is provided, of course there is also a Western breakfast. The desserts here are delicious, I didn't expect to have French caramel quail eggs in the morning. There are also wine-flavored lamb dumplings, which can also be bought in the store. Total:JPY 33580 (two berries and four meals) about HKD 1750 per person. Whether it is accommodation experience, dining or hot springs, there are high evaluations. I recommend everyone to stay at this hotel if you come to Laiyunxia.

I came here advised by the staff at my hostel, looking for a tattoo-friendly onsen. This is a large, fancy resort and I don't deny I felt a little out of place at first 😁 The place is super nice, yet the entrance (without towel fee) is only 1000 yen, or 800 if you have the discount coupon from the hostel, which is conveniently next door. I have very large, very visible tattoos (including on my arms, legs and neck) and I was allowed entrance without any issues, although in some of the bath areas there are signs that say ”No tattooes”, which I figure must be old. There are a few different pools, both indoor and outdoor, including an open-air bath on the 7th floor, overlooking the magnificent mountains and gorge. I was the only foreigner and the only person with tattoos. I'm so stoked I could experience such a place, definitely worth visiting if you have tattoos and are in the Daisetsuzan area!

To Sounkyo for the first time for the purpose of the Icefall Festival. This time I booked a Chaoyang resort near the venue. The decisive factor was that there was a free transfer from Asahikawa. However, on this day, both round trips were canceled, probably because there were few bus reservations. But it was good that the bus fare was for a round trip. It's a bigger hotel than I expected, and the exterior looks like a mountain lodge in the European Alps? This time, I booked Japanese Modern. It's a little small but I like the design. However, be careful as the small steps when going to bed are easy to stumble. Equipped with a kettle pot and tea set. Amenities such as toothbrushes and shavings are styles that you bring from the front desk. There are two large communal baths with a small open-air hot spring. Replacement system for men and women. The open-air bath while looking at the way is pleasant. The quality of the spring was also unexpectedly very good. The meal is buffet with dinner Japanese food. Depending on the word of mouth, it was not good, but there are a wide variety of dishes with local cuisine motifs centered on four countries around the Alps, which is good for Western food lovers. The taste was not bad either. There are also Japanese food such as sashimi and pot. The price was reasonable and there was a round-trip transfer and the staff was nice. Recommended inn.

[Good point] Location is cheap and convenient for eating and drinking. Good customer service at the front desk. First arrival but free parking. Free breakfast, free coffee, free tea pickles. Free freedom to leave the key at the front desk when entering and leaving. [Difficulty] The sound of the next room sounds quite echoed. It takes time until hot water comes out. The breakfast hall staff is not good. [Overall] Although I care about the sound of the next room, the accommodation fee is cheap and the location is convenient for eating and drinking cannot be missed. Above all, the good service of the front staff is healing the fatigue of the trip.
Located in the city center. Free parking (large vehicles OK) and free WiFi in all rooms

Staying in a Japanese room with Kitami bath toilet wash. There are many opportunities to stay in a Japanese room recently. Anyway, the Japanese room extends its legs in the Japanese room, and it is possible to sit on the koza, and it is easy as a Japanese. It may be hard to have back pain, but fortunately, the waist is good recently, so it is okay. And it is clean and feels good. The joint bathroom and toilet are clean. Dryer is provided at both ends of the bathroom. However, the toilet and the bathroom were not warm easily, and only the water was not too cold after all. Also, the heating in the room takes a little time to work. It was not so hot even in the high temperature setting, so when I went to sleep as it was, it became very hot in the middle of the night. The joint bath can be used in the western room with the unit bus. It is necessary to confirm whether or not the sex is in the bathroom before entering the bathroom because it is not a mixed bath, but it is common to men and women. There was no guide from the hotel staff, but from the appearance, the warm cherry blossoms on the entrance seem to be represented by the male hot water woman hot water in half 々, so it is either or something before entering I think it shows whether it is a male hot water (a male is in it) or a female hot water. There were four or six washrooms, so if you are gay, you can go in. If you are a woman or a family, you may put a key on it. However, I want to avoid long stay. Also, the washroom is very cold, so it is better to be prepared. Breakfast is simple. There are various raw * and rice for baked fish, omelettes, cut dried daikon, croquette, meatballs. Miso soup is served. I don't need much amount of rice, rice, and miso soup. In a hotel with a rich local breakfast, it may be able to be done from the morning, but it is actually enough.
