Great and wonderful service and kind hosts. Helpful. Provided a Nice breakfast and welcome arrival with bread and cheese and yogurt. Even dessert and warm and gracious dates and coffee on exit. So kind. The place is very suitable for the price. A great fl offership right around the corner. And the famous Ruind are a five minute walk down the road. Pillow and bed were comfortable. Hot water that’s actually hot. And wifi that actually has good speed. Yay! I would certainly automatically stay again. All They must do is find me a teaching job in town. Ha. Truly. It’s a good choice if you stay here.

Old-fashioned hotel, room with old TV, wooden window, which lets in the cold. Comfortable mattress, but not pillows, they are very hard.
The half board dinner was more or less good, the breakfast average. The dining room was not very clean.
The hotel is located about 20 minutes walk from the train station.

The hotel is located right by the sea, only 15 minutes walk to the town centre and train station. Breakfast buffet with great hot coffee and nice light dinner in the restaurant available, also with wine or beer. The hotel is newly renovated and rooms are fresh and clean. The staff in the reception are friendly and helpful, also welcoming staff in the restaurant. You get great value for money.

This place is literally falling apart. It hasn’t been updated since the 90s. The mattress was rock hard and the sheets paper thin. The curtains were dusty and dirty. The towels look like they have been through a lot. No toiletries in the ancient bathroom and the shower curtain was moldy.
The breakfast was just awful with stale bread, powdered juice mix, and watered down coffee. It was served in a stuffy dining room that reeked of cigarettes.
Oh and there was a mouse in the hallway.
Do yourself a favor and do not stay here.

Decent room, good view, helpful staff, clean and with all you would expect which isn't always the case in Tunisia. The area could do with some tidying up and the location is not the best, but Monastir is a nice place to visit.
