We booked a family dinner for mothers day. The service was excellent with a young vibrant staff being very helpful friendly and courteous. The food was absolutely delicious and all the mothers received vouchers for the spa along with some chocolates . We sat out in the beautiful garden for a little drink afterwards.

We celebrated our engagement party with our families last weekend in the Toulouse Suite of the Hotel. Staff (Events/Bar) were excellent- efficient/polite/professional. Service & Food was 10/10 and considering it was a busy bank holiday Sunday and there was other events taking place we were especially impressed. We would highly recommend this venue for an event. Huge thank you to the staff for looking after us so well.

I was very upset with my stay with you's on Friday night 2nd May I attended the coburn wedding. On arrival after we checked in I couldn't get the wheelchair into the room then when wheelchair was broke down there was no room to turn the chair in the room then when the girl at reception offered another room the wheelchair would not get in the lift the girl at reception kindly changed the room. Then I couldn't get into the new room of another bedroom the wheelchair could not fit into the door of all the bedrooms the doors was to narrow. Each time a family member had to break down the wheelchair to get it into the room and I had to balance on a frame I lost my leg due to cancer and this is why am in a wheelchair chair. Then there was no support hand rail at the side of the toilet to help me up I found the whole stay very distressing I have never stayed in a hotel before that is so under prepared for people who have a disability

10/10 – Outstanding Experience! I had an amazing stay at this hotel. From the moment I made the booking, the entire interaction with the staff was seamless and first class. They went above and beyond—there were lovely birthday treats waiting in the room and I was able to check in early with no hassle. Nothing was too much trouble. The beds were incredibly comfortable; I genuinely didn’t want to get up! We made the most of all the hotel’s facilities. Dinner in the bistro was absolutely delicious (the beef feather blade was incredible so a big thank you to the waitress for her recommendation) , the spa was stunning, and both the massage and facial were exceptional. The pool area was fantastic, and I especially loved the outdoor hot tub with the bucket-style water shower. The gym was clean, well-equipped, and had more machines than I expected. I’ve already recommended this place to friends and family, and I can’t wait to return. Keep up the excellent work—this hotel truly deserves 10/10!

Hen party travelled from Wexford, Galway, cork and Dublin , we booked in April 25th and 26th two nights bed and breakfast,evening meal, spa use for two hours, bottomless brunch for two hours was excellent value and a short walk from Monaghan town centre. Check in was smooth and lovely rooms, breakfast was delicious and super fresh, our evening meal served on the Friday was lovely and the lady who looked after us was fantastic. We really enjoyed the bottomless brunch and we were well looked after with fab cocktails and lovely fresh pizzas. The cocktails were endless and we couldn't keep up but that was no harm, you guys were very attentive. The spa area is nice and we had it to ourselves mostly so we were lucky, we really enjoyed it. Overall it was a great package and we thoroughly enjoyed it all. Thank you would recommend it and would stay again.

Excellent welcome and looking after!!! Everyone from the maids to reception and waiters and waitresses were so helpful and efficient!!! Spacious room and bathroom. The food was delicious and gad good portions. The only minus for me was that the room was hot at night, I would have liked a bit of cold air.

We went to stay at the Hillgrove for a hen party and we all had an absolutely fantastic time. The hotel staff were so helpful, friendly and accommodating. We would like to say a special thank you to Breda who helped us organise a bespoke package that suited our group and was amazing value for money!!! The accommodation was spacious, comfortable and modern. The breakfast was great and we also had an evening meal which was delicious. We were especially impressed with the bottomless brunch as it was truly bottomless!!! In addition, the spa was very relaxing with really friendly staff. We also had a really good time in Monaghan town as everyone was so welcoming, friendly and had a great sense of humour. We would really recommend the Hillgrove hotel and I'm sure we will all be back staying at the hotel again soon in the near future.

We recently stayed at the Hillgrove hotel to celebrate my mothers 80th birthday and we had a very enjoyable stay. The food was lovely, the rooms spacious and comfortable and the staff really looked after our needs. It was perfect for our large family gathering and a special birthday celebration - I would definitely recommend it!
