Lovely family run hotel in a great location. We arrived late in the evening and were able to have some amazing italian food from the restaurant. The boat stop is just 30 meters from the hotel entrance. Staff made sure we got everything we needed. Will definitely return one day soon.

We so enjoyed our stay at Hotel Posta. The room was large and the facility was gorgeous. The breakfast was the best we have had during our stay in Italy and we were welcomed so kindly at the front desk. She took the time to help us sort our transportation in the area and went above and beyond to ensure we were happy. We will certainly stay here every time we visit lake como from here on.

The hotel is a very nice family run hotel. Comfortable bed and a lovely restaurant made for a great few days in Como. The ferry stop is directly across the street. Parking is nearby. We throughly enjoyed our stay.

Very nice indeed. Rooms were well laid out and felt charming and romantic. Staff was so helpful with all our questions from where to park, where to catch the Lake Como water ferries and where to go. Breakfast was nice and simple. Snakes and pizzas were delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We have come to Italy for 3 days for a special birthday. On night 1 we wanted a nice restaurant that was relaxed and welcoming. Seeing the family history of Hotel Posta made it the obvious choice. We were not disappointed… It was quiet (which was to be expected at this time of year) but the staff were really helpful, explaining all the dishes and leaving just the amount of time between courses. And the food was incredible. We had fish from the lake and Bresaola followed by Veal and Perch. Cooked to perfection and washed down with a light and tasty bottle of house red. For pudding the obvious… homemade Tiramisu (WOW) and an Irish coffee. An incredible evening but it didn’t stop there. When no taxis were available we were offered a lift to our hotel by the owners wife. Thank you so much and an amazing first night!

I would not call it a hotel. It is more like being home. The staff is amazing. It is like eating breakfast with your family, leaving for the day to then be greeted by the same family when you return. Rooms are well equipped, very clean, comfortable. We are not people who do much more than sleep at hotels and as such was always a pleasure to come back, relax, and recharge in a peaceful, relaxing “home”. WONDERFUL!!

Everything was excellent. The only surprise was the paid parking for an additional 10 euros per day. But really we loved this hotel otherwise.

A wonderful family run hotel in a quiet village. The food is superb, five star, but book the restaurant in advance in peak season, and the staff are helpful and friendly. A great place for a special occasion. Ferries across the road. This is exceptional.
