First impression, a very small English Village Pub. One inside, the Pub is classic old English, nice. The room is dated, but all you need is there. The problem was the heating, the heating from the radiator did not kick in, so a November stay a little cool! Food and drink in the evening arson classic pub fair, so OK. Breakfast, that was a rush job in the morning due to going to a meeting, but the toast was not good and the coffee very bitter, so not the best. This could be a bad experience, but is in the area during the summer I will give it another try, as the location is lovely.

Unfortunately the Plough inn is past its prime. Although previously an award winner, the quality of the food and accommodation are dismal. The rooms were dirty and literally falling apart. The carpets were stained, the bathroom was full of mildew, and most fixtures in the room were broken or not working.

This pub is a little gem in the depths of the Surrey countryside. Winding sunken roads lead you to a cheerful little pub with great food, friendly and helpful staff and comfortable beds. The food is typical pub grub and totally delicious, and I loved their selection of gins!

We were passing through Coldharbour in the Surrey Hills and stopped at The Plough Inn for a coffee. The Inn has a small shop alongside it which served great coffee and has cakes, sausage rolls, sweets, soft drinks etc. You can sit outside and take a welcome break. We did not visit the main bar and did not eat, but the bar is welcoming, clean and spacious. If you are taking a walk up Leith Hill to the Tower I would recommend stopping off for supplies.

Our stay here was absolutely unforgettable! The hosts, an incredibly pleasant couple, gave us a warm welcome and took service and hospitality to a whole new level. The location was stunningly beautiful, like something out of a postcard! And their friendly, large dog was truly an added delight. As a mother and daughter from Norway on a round trip, this place was the highlight of the entire journey. We felt right at home here and will definitely be back!

Delightful country inn lying at the heart of the Surrey Hills with friendly and welcoming staff, pleasant rooms, great food and fine beer. A two-night stay wasn't long enough to explore the surrounding area and we will certainly be back. Convenient for Gatwick Airport too.

Stayed here for a wedding since there aren't too many places in the area. Our room stank of cigarette smoke and dog. Decor tired and in much need of a refresh. Curtain was hanging off the rail. Bags of dirty laundry piled up in the hall. Could do with a good clean.
