It is the third time here, because of family matters. It is allways nice to stay here. The rooms are cosy and nice. Even if i just had two different rooms. I prefer the one without a carpet therefor the bath in the other room is really great, old but also modern. The food fine. I am pretty sure i am gone come again.

I took my family for Sunday lunch and the only option for me as a vegetarian was a cauliflower steak which I thought was very overpriced at £20. The vegetables also lacked imagination, greens and carrots. Would have been nice to have cauliflower cheese on the menu, maybe not for me but for the meat eaters in the family. Lovely warm and welcoming place but have had much better Sunday lunches elsewhere. Wouldn’t be in a rush to go back.

We stayed here recently for a family wedding. We don't know this area, but we were looking for somewhere close to the venue to stay. The Running Horses is a lovely pub/inn, the rooms were comfortable and a good size, the bed was comfy too, and the bathroom was perfect for a couple. I would absolutely stay again.

Great food & a lovely atmosphere. Went for lunch. The prawns on toast for starters was excellent. My wife went vegetarian and she really enjoyed her starter and main. I had the burger for my main & it was excellent. Will definitely be returning.

First time visitor on a Tuesday evening in early December. Drove for 40 minutes from Pyrford to Mickleham and we passed many pubs to get there. Questioned my mate who was driving about why we were going so far for a beer and a burger. Opened the door and realised why. Roaring open fire, great atmosphere and really welcoming Landlord who took time out of serving to say hello and even brought our beers over. The main event though was the burger. Quite simply the best burger I've had in many years! Cooked to perfection with a generous portion of fries on the side. Will definitely be returning as my mate wouldn't stop raving about the Sunday roast!!

We visited here for dinner, having driven past it numerous times we thought it was worth a visit. Very traditional British pub, exposed beams, open fire and lovely food. We took our dog with us, as it is a very dog friendly place. We sat in the bar area and had a small table reserved for us for dinner. The service was table service and the staff who served us were very polite and friendly. The pub at the moment is dressed up very nicely with Christmas decorations and looks very festive. We ordered the sourdough with olive oil and balsamic to start, the steak and ale pie for main and the sticky toffee pudding for desert. Cannot fault this meal one bit. It was delicious and certainly filled a gap. I'd definitely re visit this pub and definitely recommend steak and ale pie. 👌 all in all a lovely dinning experience and look forward to our next visit.

It's been several years since we came here. Although it's changed a bit, the ambience is still superb and welcoming. The bar area has an open fire, and the beer choice is fantastic. Then, into the restaurant, gone are the white tablecloths, but the food is fabulous as was the service. We decided to go back next week it was so good.

Late Sunday lunch booking. We chose roast chicken, roast pork and a delicious bottle of Pinot Noir. The service and quality of the food was exceptional. We finished with a sticky toffee pudding which was gorgeous. The Pub has been dressed for Christmas and looked twinkly and festive. This was perfect for a cosy and amazing supper. Highly recommended.
