With three nights and we really really enjoyed it. The staff was dedicated, polite and very professional. The food was truly excellent and we’re very thankful for the experience.. Starting from here, we took six game drives with their guide Imelda into the international national Park . The car was well kept and Imelda made sure that we saw as many animals as possible. Things weren’t easy because the bush was extremely green due to the strong rainforest, but we still saw all the big species of the park, including elephant, black rhino, lion, cheetah, and even a leopard with a car, which was extreme luck. Added to that many many different bird species. It was always exciting every single time. The last word regarding the standards of the camp, this is extremely luxurious and quite impressive so far away from everything . Thank you to all the staff of Mushara outpost!!!

What a cool place. Our tents were raised on stilts about five feet off the ground. Totally beautiful interior with an outdoor and indoor shower. A great deck to sit back and enjoy the view of the dry creek riverbed. DIK-DIK’s running past to the watering hole. Beautiful birds in the area and apparently a lion on our last night under our deck! We heard something but found out later when the workers came through with lights and bangers. Super cool! The main house was the look of a beautiful farm house. The help were so very welcoming and super helpful. My massage was the best! The bbq night was the best steak ever!! Imelda was a great guide for safari. Helena a very good manager. Veronica a great massage woman. The rest of the girls were just as great. Thank you for a great stay.

We had the most amazing experience at this beautiful location. From the start we were treated like royalty. The lovely Lena greeted us and showed us around and gave us all the information we needed during our stay. The food was delicious and very well presented by the lovely chef. The whole dining experience was top notch. Our tented chalet was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. We took advantage of visiting the on-site watering hole to view the animals in the evening. And relaxed around the pool in the afternoon, enjoying the environment. Enjoyed sundowners on the lawn around the fire pit. It was all just so lovely, we didn’t want to leave.

I loved this place! Rooms were super comfy and charming. Each tent/cabin was off the main path. Lots of animals wandered freely on the property like warthogs, mongoose, Impala and small antelope. The staff was wonderful and the food was fabulous. Would absolutely stay there again! And there were two game drives a day to etosha with a guide! Saw so many incredible animals

We had just left the western part of Etosha National Park from Ongava Camp and it took quite a long time....4 hours to drive 190 Km. We saw hundreds of animals along the way mostly being springbok but the elephants were awesome as well. OK,,,, Mushara Outpost was really great even though it was only 2 nights. First day/night we just stayed at camp and enjoyed the very nice accommodations. Great bed with netting around to keep out the mosquitoes although, I rarely saw any mosquitoes our entire trip as it was/is the dry season. Food was good...no complaints there. The highlight of my stay was being with a local woman guide, Ute. I believe her name is Germanic and I'll copy her picture below. I was alone with her for the late afternoon game drive where we saw wonderful herds of elephants and leopards as well as the uncountable springbok and ostriches and a type of stork. Hornbills. I've got so many pictures, I'll never get through them all. Ute is great and I wished I knew her as a friend! Back to Mushara....I would go back to stay! Very nice!

I had 2 days here as part of a tour group of 6. Absolutely stunning! This gorgeous lodge is just outside the eastern gate of Etosha. The tented lodging is beautiful with indoor and outdoor shower and the best, most comfortable bed. It was cold when I was there so the turnback service organised hot water bottles for the bed. The food was excellent and the public area of the lodge was beautifully decorated. We also saw warthogs and dikdiks walking around the grounds. Absolutely loved it here!

This luxurious lodge lies just outside the Eastern (Von Lindenqvist) gate of the Etosha National Park. Although the lodge is located outside the Park, there is plenty of small game in the lodge area - charming Dikdik antilopes, wart hogs, and no doubt more judging from the nighttime chorus around and under our tented lodging on stilts. The main hall of the lodge is warm and welcoming, and the evening starts with pre-dinner aperitif around the brasero. The food is good and the service is warm and charming which adds to the intimate atmosphere of this lodge. We did two interesting game drives, which allowed us to see most of the animals we had come to see. Excellent stay . Thanks.

This is just the most amazing lodge ... a colonial style building in peaceful grounds with wildlife all around and just a stones throw from an Etosha gate. The ensuite tents are lovely and well equipped. The staff are very attentive and friendly and the food was great. Highly recommended.
