The room was so spacious and beautiful decorated!! The was amazing, the chef did a great work! And finally, the game drive with our guide Petrus was beyond our expectations, he is so experienced and he became a great part of our journey!! 🙏🙏

Of all places in Namibia, this ranks in the top 10. Fantastic location, service and dinning. Not to belittle the excellent dinning or location (we saw a lion from our on suite swimmingpool) it is worth mentioning that the service at Mushara is the best trained and observant that I have ever encountered. Often at even top hotels and lodges the training of the services, even if just little things is missing. At Mushara nothing is missing! A guide even checks the path to your room ahead of you to be sure that there are no lions and each chef in the open african style lapa presents their dish before it is serviced or you can select yourself. Oryx steak is super!

wir haben im Rahmen unserer 14tätigen Rundreise 2 Nächte in der Villa Mushara genächtigt, die Teil der Mushara Lodge ist (ein kurzer, mit Gitter abgesperrter Fußweg führt zu den beiden Villen) die Nähe zum Lindequist Gate ist perfekt und die allgemeinen Bereiche sind top gepflegt. wenn die Anlage voll ist, kann es mit dem Parken vielleicht etwas eng werden. wir hatten das All Inkl. package - neben allen Mahlzeiten, Minibar (sehr gut gefüllt!) und Getränken waren auch 2 private game drives sowie laundry service inkludiert, was wir als sehr angenehm empfunden haben und gut funktioniert hat. Die Villa ist ein Traum, riesig, ruhig und mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet und dekoriert. Einzig der "Plunge pool" ist nutzlos und Verschwendung wertvoller Wasser- und Energieressourcen (Pumpe), weil gerade mal so gross, dass man die Füsse abkühlen kann ;-) kulinarisches Angebot und Serviceleistungen sind an die Mushara Lodge gekoppelt, insgesamt sehr gut, aber nicht herausragend. Abendessen war ein 3 Gänge solider Qualität (Wahl des Hauptgang musste man beim Frühstück schon bekanntgeben) beim Abendessen wurden wir nie gefragt, ob wir noch Getränke nachbestellen möchten, obwohl die Gläser offensichtlich leer waren. Insgesamt ein schöner Aufenthalt, aber vermutlich würden wir das nächste Mal ein Chalet in der Lodge nehmen. Hier stimmt das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis dann besser ;-)

Wir waren zwei Nächte in der Villa. Bei der Ankunft buchten wir für den nächsten Tag einen Game Drive. Die Dame an der Bar teilte uns den Preis mit und wir wussten, dass wir 6.30 Uhr ready sein mussten. Das Abendessen war sehr lecker, es gab einen Grillabend mit Buffet. Am nächsten morgen, standen wir 6.30 Uhr, zu Abfahrt bereit. Die Dame vom vorherigen Tag teilte uns dann mit, dass wir nicht gebucht sind, denn wir hätten auf eine Bestätigung warten müssen. Schlussendlich konnten wir dann doch mit Ute, einer genialen Rangerin, mitfahren. Fehler passieren, aber es gab keine Entschuldung der Dame, denn sie hat uns nicht darauf hingewiesen, dass sie Safari bestätigt werden muss. Das wäre das Mindeste gewesen! Zurück von der Fahrt, bestellten wir einen Salat und einen Burger. Sie teilten uns dann mit, dass dies 25 min dauert und wir uns schon mal im Zimmer umziehen sollen. Nach 30 min waren wir wieder da, immer noch kein Essen parat. Nach weiteren 50 Min kam es dann endlich, ohne Entschuldigung. Geht gar nicht !! Die einzige, welche sich Mühe gegeben und einen guten Job gemacht hat, war sie Trainee! Der Rest war unmotiviert und unbrauchbar. Nicht akzeptabel, für den Preis, welchen wir bezahlt haben !!
