Hotel Wooin

It's very close to Mokpo Station. You can head straight to the hotel to check in your luggage after getting off the train, and then relax there after your trip. The hotel is spacious and comfortable. The shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner in the bathroom are very useful. The bed is just the right firmness, and there are two pillows, one firm and one soft—a really nice touch for those who are picky about pillows. They even have a phone outlet!! What a thoughtful touch!! There's also a convenience store downstairs, which is very convenient!!

Parking is incredibly inconvenient. There are only five spaces behind the hotel, so you have to park a bit far away. There's a strange, foul smell coming from the back door after parking. There's absolutely no sense of service. They say they offer breakfast, but they don't. When I ask why, they just keep saying there's no difference in price. I wonder if they can take reservations just because they say they offer breakfast. I think this is a scam. You'd be much better off just going to a nearby motel.

It was conveniently located right next to Mokpo Station, making our trip convenient. They also offered luggage storage before check-in and after check-out, which was nice. I stayed here with a friend for two nights. On the first day, upon arrival, I found a cockroach in the bathroom while taking a shower. I reported this to the front desk, but they asked if I wanted to change rooms, but I didn't think it would make much of a difference, so I decided to stay. The next day, after returning home, the cockroaches came out again, and we ended up changing rooms in the middle of the night. The front desk was very kind and promptly changed our room, but this was the first time I'd encountered cockroaches in my numerous domestic and international trips, and it was two days in a row. It was disconcerting and unsettling. I was nervous, looking around all night, wondering if there might be more. The accommodation itself was clean, and they said they regularly disinfected the room, but... it was a truly unpleasant experience for both my friend and I. The cockroaches were so overwhelming that I think our three-day, two-night stay will be remembered solely for them.

Transportation is convenient, so I often use it when going to Mokpo.
