1st time in this hotel. Staff are great, hotel clean food good , can get a bus transport outside good. Indoor pool is a bonus if weather is poor or like me you don't like cold water but could do with a bit of a refurbishment. All round lovely stay would definitely stay again and recommend it.

Lovely spacious bedroom, but could do with a lot more draw space. All staff were very helpful. All areas of the hotel were spotless. The downside was the canteen couldn’t call it a restaurant. It’s extremely noisy and not enjoyable. The food was mainly warm, even if you went in when it first opened. The evening entertainment was nonexistent & it started at 11pm, no activity’s during the day. It’s in a very quiet area, there is nothing to walk to, no shops or bars, you have to rely on taxis to get anywhere. It’s stated as 4 star, in my opinion 3 star would be better.

Just WOW! The standard of care in this hotel is perfect....a truly fabulous team of people. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The reception and restaurant staff, bar staff, cleaning team....all superb!! A special thank you to Vanessa in the bar!!! The rooms are not the most modern but the hotel is immaculate with comfortable beds and great showers!.... Tea and coffee making facilities would be truly welcome in the room The view from our room was spectacular....We could never tire of it My husband really enjoyed the pool and spa facilities, said they were excellent. The restaurant facilities were so well managed. Two really large groups arrived whilst we were there and every single member of staff worked so hard to accommodate everyone. The choices of breakfast, lunch and dinner were great quality, varied and well presented (I was concerned as we had read some poor reviews.....totally untrue!) Even the hotel Manager took the time to introduce herself to us ....once again so friendly All in all a fantastic stay. We have worked in tourism for over 30 years and know how difficult this type of work can be..... 10/10 !!! and Congratulations Team Marina Playa. We are already planning our next visit !!! Not much going on around the hotel area - best thing was the bus to Mojacar Pueblo Sea view and sounds of waves from our room - 5th floor Hotel rooms and grounds were perfectly acceptable, as was dinner though a shame restaurant had no view or natural light No towels provided for pool, sauna etc Never seen this before in a four star hotel Plates at dinner were cold so by the time you had perused the buffet and returned to your table, the food was often very lukewarm Too much plastic pots for- breakfast jams, butters etc Plastic bags for pillows - a nice touch but too much plastic on- a simple band round them or a sticker would have been fine

This was a celebration with family for our Diamond Wedding Anniversary. Absolutely fantastic. Everyone enjoyed and the staff were amazing. A wonderful experience. The hotel is situated across tge road from the sea. Beautiful views of coast and Mojacar Pueblo.

Amazing hotel. From the front of house to waiting staff and housekeeping, everyone was friendly and certainly enjoyed their jobs. The room we had was a sea view, it was spotless. The beds were so comfortable and the bathroom was huge! We stayed one night for our wedding anniversary, we had cocktails in the beach bar opposite and in the hotel bar. The buffet dinner and breakfast where outstanding. Well done team marina player, can't recommend you highly enough!

Very nice hotel, modern rooms, lovely food, excellent staff, couldn't ask more, particularly for the price. Right opposite the beach. Nice bar area with various forms of entertainment. Particular thanks to the restaurant manager for helping with my wife's allergy.

"We had the pleasure of returning to this warm and family-friendly establishment for the second time. The staff, always wearing welcoming smiles, made our stay memorable. Our room number 4000, treated us to breathtaking views of the sea and the inviting pool below. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, a true testament to their dedication. The food and beverage team deserves a solid 5-star rating. Their tireless efforts ensured a constant supply of freshly cooked delights. For those who prefer to venture out, the local bus conveniently stops just outside the hotel, providing easy access to the charming pueblo village. Across the road, two enticing chiringuitos beckon, their tempting aromas guiding the way. For travelers with their own vehicle, there's a wealth of small towns and villages waiting to be explored. Families will especially appreciate the excellent kids' club facilities. It's worth noting that while the drinks were delightful, they could add up over time. It might be worthwhile for the hotel group to consider offering water and soft drinks at a more affordable rate or introducing a drinks card system, akin to what's seen on cruises. Outside the hotel, a quaint sports cafe served up ice-cold pints of Mahou lager, a delightful touch. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable stay at this hotel. Highly recommended."
