First time at the Haus Delecke, we have stayed further Eastwards on the Mohnesee before. Very comfortable room and spacious room looking out over the garden and the car park. The lake view rooms a a little smaller from what we saw. Staff were lovely even managing to understand our dismal German, food was good and even more so on the terrace. Some nice walks around the nature reserve on the opposite bank of the Mohnesee and obviously the famous Dam needs to be visited. A lovely area and will be back.

We stayed for two nights in a ‘Comfort Double’ room, which was in the main building on the second floor overlooking the front garden and car park. The room was a nice size and exceptionally clean, the only downside was the lack of air conditioning as it was 30 °C during our stay, which was a little above average for September, plus the WiFi was a bit hit and miss on the second floor. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of hot and cold options, plus the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We didn’t have dinner in the restaurant so can’t comment on the quality of food but given how busy it gets in the evening it’s obviously popular for a reason. All in all it was a lovely relaxing stay and we would probably visit again during our next trip to the area.

Wonderful hotel located in a beautiful part of Germany. Staff are pleasant and friendly and make you feel very welcome. Rooms was comfortable and quiet and a pleasant nights stay on our way to Berlin. Food is excellent with a good selection of bread, cheese, cold meats available for the breakfast buffet, along with cereals and cooked options. Well worth a stay and is on our list for a repeat visit.

What a beautiful lovely hotel, I am sure it is super busy in the Summer by the lakeside. We were on our way back from a road trip to visit Colditz and were delighted to find the Mohn Dam outside our window. Friendly staff and a lovely room. Had a stuffy smell about it which dropped it from five to four stars. Well worth a visit.

Ich hatte für zwei Nächte gebucht. Das Zimmer in der Dependance war gerade so in Ordnung, das Bett war gut. Zwei verschiedene Kissen zur Auswahl. Die Einrichtung war schlicht und hatte schon bessere Tage gesehen. Die Dusche und Toilette waren gut. Einen Aufzug gibt es nur im Hauptgebäude, allerdings hat das Nebengebäude auch nur ein Stockwerk. Keine Klimaanlage im Zimmer, was bei den herrschenden Temperaturen auch noch kein Problem war. Im Sommer dürfte das allerdings anders aussehen. Das Frühstück war bei meinem Aufenthalt sehr gut und mit großer Auswahl. Besonders das Rührei war nicht so matschig wie in vielen anderen Hotels. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und nett. Das Essen im Restaurant war sehr lecker und preislich noch in Ordnung. Die Einrichtung des Hotels war nostalgisch und passend zu den Gebäuden. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis dieses 4 Sterne Hotels für das Zimmer und das Frühstück bzw. war leider etwas zu hoch, ansonsten war ich zufrieden!

Das Comfort Zimmer war eine Katastrophe. Die Schrägen waren so gravierend das man nur ein Drittel des Zimmers nutzen konnte das Frühstück war sehr schlecht nur Discounter Produkte. Eierspeisen kalt das Buffet wurde nicht nachgefüllt. Es gab Aufback Brötchen. Kein Apfelsaft kein Tomatensaft.nicht einmal ein Toastbrot war da

Back to 1970. Alles wirkt irgendwie aus der Zeit gefallen, aber man kann die ehemalige Eleganz des Hauses noch an vielen Stellen entdecken. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zum See mit einem herrlichen Ausblick. Sehr sauber und gepflegt und irgendwann mal renoviert. Das Frühstück war wohl schon sehr früh eingedeckt, als wir um 08:30 antraten, war der Speck zum Rührei schon unter einer Wärmelampe knochentrocken. Die Damen im Service sehr kühl und distanziert, aber auch nicht unfreundlich. Hier ginge eigentlich viel mehr.
