Very, very satisfied!!! After arriving in Mohe, we chartered a car to visit Beihong Village. We arrived at Beiji Village at 8:00 AM, and it was already late after having dinner here. It was past 9:00 AM. They came to open the door for me as soon as I called! Thank you. There was also breakfast in the morning. It was a very comfortable stay and I slept very well. The room was very clean.

Before arriving at the Arctic Village, we asked the aunt in advance how to get there after getting off at the Northernmost Bus Station. The enthusiastic aunt sent a car to pick us up, which was really great. In the following days, the aunt and uncle took good care of us, gave us some suggestions for our itinerary, treated us to frozen persimmons in the evening, and got up early to make us breakfast. These made us feel the warmth of home, which is really recommended. On the morning of our departure, the aunt let us experience pouring water to make ice. We also asked the aunt and uncle to write blessings on a postcard for us and then mailed it. In short, during our stay in the Arctic Village, Yuanju Guest House made our trip even more wonderful.

The room is not big, but it is no problem for two people to stay in. It is very clean. There is a small vegetable garden outside the window, which is very ventilated and has a nice view. The owner of the B&B is very enthusiastic and took the initiative to tell us the itinerary. The breakfast is also good. The price-performance ratio is good.

We booked this place specifically because we saw it had a kang room. The price was affordable and included free breakfast. The owner and his wife were so hospitable. The kang was heated just right and warm, and they even poured water on us to make it ice. It felt like home here. The village restaurants couldn't compare to the owner's, whose meals were cheap and delicious. We ate at his home for both days during our stay in Arctic Village. A few downsides: the shower head would be better replaced. The water pressure was already good, but it was dragging it down. Also, a retractable clothes drying rack in the room would be a plus, as some underwear isn't easy to hang outside. We also got to meet two other guests and had a great time chatting with the owner!

When we drove to the entrance of the Arctic Village, cars could no longer enter, so the boss drove a small electric scooter to pick us up at the door. This small electric scooter accompanied me to visit various attractions in the Arctic Village for two days. The old lady was very talkative and thoughtful. I like to eat wild fish from Heilongjiang, but I couldn't buy fresh ones that day. Fortunately, there was frozen stock of Heilongjiang small white fish at home. The uncle cooked and deep-fried them himself. They were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. There were also stewed beans and cucumber rolls. I ate them all without leaving any. Each person drank about half a pound of white wine. The uncle drank quickly and must have a good alcohol tolerance. The uncle's cooking skills were learned from the old man, and the old man's cooking skills should be well-known locally. In the middle, I heard many stories, some about the Arctic Village and some about the uncle himself. It was very late unknowingly, and I was a little tired, so I went back to the room to rest. The next morning, as I was getting ready to go out, I was surprised to see the old lady saying she'd bought me some freshly caught white fish. I hadn't taken it seriously, so she went out and bought it for me that morning. She even told me I was in luck, saying the white fish was even bigger and rare. In addition to the white fish, the dinner included wild hazel mushrooms, which were fried to perfection. They were all picked by the locals themselves and are a local specialty. The old man usually doesn't talk much, but when he drinks, he tells stories. How much he can tell depends on how much you can drink, hahaha. Since we had to travel tomorrow, he didn't let me drink much that night, just under a glass each. I went to bed early because we had to travel tomorrow. During these three days in Arctic Village, the memories I have of this old couple are even more precious. Thank you again!
