The cottage is fully equipped with gas central heating and hot water, modern kitchen with fridge, fan assisted oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. A separate living room with colour television, DVD player and Freeview provides a peaceful area to relax in. There is also a dining room with table and seating for 4 people. Free WiFi is also provided. On the first floor there are two cosy bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other a twin room with two single beds. There is also a separate family bathroom with bath and shower. All bed linen and towels are provided. Parking is available to the front and at the rear of cottage and there is also free parking in the High Street. The cottage is a non-smoking property. Well behaved/housetrained dogs are very welcome. Please be aware the cottage has no garden, however, the riverside is a 5 minute walk and is a popular area for dog-walking. PLEASE NOTE: because it is a traditional cottage the stairs are steep with a half landing from bedrooms to bathroom. Care must be taken at all times when existing these rooms. This may cause a problem for anyone with limited mobility, the elderly or families with very young children. The bedrooms have sloping ceilings, a common feature of traditional Scottish cottages, which results in reduced headroom (be aware if you are very tall!) Moffat Stay Lazydays is a really lovely cottage down a side street (parking outside no problems at all). It's a minutes walk to the main street with lots of choices to eat and some nice walks. Great communication from the owner. Definitely recommended !
