My sister and I had the immense pleasure of visiting Modica in May of this year. Our first trip to Sicily was a very pleasant surprise. This started with our accommodation in between Modica Alta and Modica Bassa. Nestled away below the steps of St Giorgio's Cathedral, the Siciliando is located in the perfect position to get to know the true side of Monica. Best of all, the welcome from Rosalina and Graziana was fab. They are in the process of renovating their beautiful palazzo (not that you would notice any disruption) and there is a wonderful sense of calm. Our room was in the newer part of the property so clean and crisp. The room was cleaned everyday and used towels replaced daily together with clean sheets after a few days. This is rare in B and Bs Breakfast is included and includes all sorts of homemade preserves and a freshly baked cake! Due to the location, away from the main roads, it was very quiet too. The only downside is the steps. This was not a problem for us but could be for others so it's worth checking with them. They will come to your assistance but obviously you'd need to inform them. All in all it was superb value and made our visit truely memorable!

Unsere Freundesgruppe aus 17 Personen hat hier 2 wunderbare Tage in Modica und Ragusa verlebt. Die Gastgeberin Rosellina und ihr Team haben uns sehr leckere lokaltypische Abendmenüs bereitet. Die Zimmer sind liebevoll renoviert und funktionell eingerichtet. Ich fand den Aufenthalt den Höhepunkt unserer Rundreise durch Sizilien. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!

Ottima struttura si mangia molto bene coccolati dalle due proprietarie Rosellina e Graziana. È consigliatissimo nel centro storico di Modica. La signora Rossellina ci ha raccontato la storia del b&b sono state molto brave. Fantastica la loro caponata e la crema di fave.

Modica una bellissima città barocca, piena d' arte e fascino ma molto trascurata e triste. Non molto curato anche l' alloggio i tetti di siciliando. Siamo arrivati nel pomeriggio e abbiamo trovato una povera stanza tanto fredda e umida, abbiamo notato molti dettagli che potrebbero fare la differenza se attenzionati invece nulla forse neppure osservati da parte dei gestori. A partire dalla scalinata che porta al b & B ( sporca e piena di erbacce) fino ad arrivare all' ingresso esterno della struttura..per poi proseguire con l'interno squallido e poco attenzionato. Sicuramente il prezzo alla fine ha giustificato tutto ma meglio spendere qualcosa in più a mio parere, solo che avendo prenotato all'ultimo minuto non avevamo molto alternative. A Chi sta pensando ad una vacanza in zona consiglio senza dubbio il pernottamento a Ragusa ibla, vicina pochi km ma abbastanza lontana come cultura.
