Was ripped off by GM…Harassed by the other guests

Manager is extremely disrespectful and uses his power of authority to bully customers, and take the deposit money plus from the occupants.. after being asked to vacate the property he went in the room to do a Thorough examination of the room and after he was done he approached me and said I have what I need to financially be able to charge your card for more money give me a grin on your face and walked away throwing his middle finger towards me.this was all stemming from the fact that my girlfriend had a girl friend slept over soo when they woke up in the morning there was 5mins left before breakfast ended and so they rain down there so they could grab the free breakfast they offer in the morning so when they were down there the manager asked them what they were doing they said grabbing a little breakfast before you close so his respones was we don’t need your kind here, went back to the office and proceeded to attemp to charge my card on file for 50 dollars plus took my complete deposit of $100 dollars.then came to my room and proceeded to kick use off our of the room and off property.. THE MANAGER IS ONE OF THE WOREST MANAGER I HAVE HAD TO DEAL WITH…alAfter all that he has the room examined and the only thing they found was a small stain and he comes and showed me that he can now come after me for damages .. because of small stain.. wow very bad experience!

It is difficult to evaluate this property, because it is undergoing a major remodel (and rebranding I think). Everthing from the lobby and front desk to the breakfast room seemed to be in temporary locations. There was no outdoor signage indicating the location and name of the hotel. Fortunately,we used to live in Modesto and knew from the address where it was supposed to be. The room and the hall areas are large, but several items in our room did not work. We would need to chec back in 6 months to do an honest evaluation.

We ended up cancelling after seeing the hotel and room. There was a strong perfumy odor in the room which triggered my asthma and the side door was not secure. It would not latch, let alone lock. They are doing some renovations so perhaps in the future, it will get better.

Well the room was dirty smelling to begin with also hair in bathroom sink then The top of it was a roach ran across the room when we turned on the bed light.

Disappointed with the overall condition of the property. Rooms were clean, though we had several visiting insects (beetle, there ear wigs) in the room. Chair at desk was torn at the side, while the lounge chair was dirty and stained, with a glued on matching patch of fabric on the arm. Room was not adequately lit even with the two small headboard lamps (flashlight sized) and one pole lamp with underpowered lights on in the room. No luggage rack/stand, torn curtains.

Son and I reserved a room because we didn’t want to drive all the way home to south valley late at night. Checked in at 12:30 am. Lobby is being renovated. Staff was arguing loudly in nearby break room next to buffet area that looked like it was under construction. The entire property had a smell like it used to be a sketchy hotel but they were trying to upgrade it. Walked to room through hallway w/security door. Stinky hallway. Lots of doors had cosmetic damage. Lighting was dim. Room blinds were broken, so couldn’t even crack a window to vent the stuffy air. Son and I said, forget this, and we drove home instead of staying. Will seek refund, but $100 deposit suggests this is still a sketchy place wanting to be better. Front desk guy was nice at check in, though.

It was not good at all for the price - it was very crowded and very noisy - all hotels charge a deposit of 25 to 30 dollars, even the Hilton hotel, but they charged 100 dollars

The room was very nice. Things that I feel need improvement, lighting in the room was poor, the bathroom door needed paint or replacement. Also tile work in the bathroom was all new, but the quality of the installation was extremely poor. I would not stay there again.
