Vacancéole - Résidence la Turra

The hotel is old and it hasn't been renovated. Our apartament was very cramped with old furniture. It was really hard to move around bed in the bedroom. The bed had really hard materasse. In the second room there was a bunk bed and also not much space. The apartament really needed a cleanup, the dishwasher was so dirty itself, that the dishes were disgusting after washing. The SPA area was not encouriging, cold without any space to relax. The skiroom was cold and wet, so ski boots didn't dry. The only adavantage of this hotel is the low price.

The resort is a cozy, old fashioned chalet with nice pool and sauna. The hall and room are quite old but everything is well functioned

Dear Trip advisor, I'd like to share my disappointment about residence La Turra, booked via Vacanceole for the week 30/12/2023 until 06/01/2024 (Logement n°501). I opine you thus should know since the way Vacanceole is running its' business in Valfrejus could also harm the good reputation of your village. I will explain what happened. 1. On or around begin November 2023 I have booked on Vacanceole website an appartement de 3 pieces for 8 persons. At the time of arrival I unfortunately found out that our family apparently has been contracted for the smallest family room available (n°501). This meant amongst others no bunk bed for our 2 children of 9 and 13 years old which is always a minimum requirement for us to finalize a booking. 2. After realizing no change of room was possible (fully booked) I had a call with Vancanceole in France to reclaim at least the too much paid part of the amount of EURO 2.026,60 which I considered to have been paid for the large family appartement for 8 persons. The response of them until today is shocking in the sense that this huge price of EURO 2.026,60! correctly mirrored the value for this most smallest family room in La Turra. 3. I have tried to explain Vacanceole that I begin November never ever would have paid an amount of EURO 2.026,60! for such a tiny ‘mouse hole’. For the same amount I could have reserved a one week HOTEL including breakfast or one of the largest apartments of Valfrejus (we know since this is already our 4-th consecutive year we rent an appartement in Valfrejus). Even 'elitiste' St. Moritz would not charge such an excessive amount. 4. Although I have reserved and paid for an indoor parking place, I have not been granted such one by the reception of La Turra hence I had to park the car the full week outdoors. 5. Conclusion: I just feel really ROBBED by Vacanceole hence I will start a litigation against them before the French courts in Lyon. I am really curious what French courts will judge hearing I have paid 2k+ for a rabbit hole without parking place. Together with friends, we rebooked this hotel this year, in January.But, in fact, I would recommend you to choose another hotel.When we left, we encountered an UNPLEASANT THING - we were sent old photos, taken in other rooms, as if we had left a mess and unwashed dishes and dirty floors, etc.Also, the hot water supply was damaged, the hotel administration was informed about it, but did nothing.
