The hostel occupies a large area, limited to environmental relations, chickens are noisy, dogs are noisy, mosquitoes are too many, and gecko and cockroaches (but there are no cockroaches), but this is not a problem with the hostel. I loved how warm and their staff is. It's the perfect resort for a mix of rest, relaxation and adventure altogether. They have a game room. Perfect for barkadas or for siblings or colleagues who checks in at the resort. I was greeted with warms smiles when I arrived. Check-in process was smooth. Check-out process is a bit long though. The room I stayed in is their Tour room. It was clean. I loved my bed and pillows. Aircon, hot and cold shower, TV were working. I like that there are many outlets inside the room and that I could get refillable water at the lobby. My room has a terrace but the view of this particular room wasn't nice but it's okay. They have toiletries and towels. The only missing though is conditioner. Soap is too small over a day's use. Shower area doesn't have a cover so water splashes onto the outside tiles. During my return, I stayed in their villa room, there was no light outside the door so it was challenging to open at night. Villa room is nice too - it has bigger TV, a purifier and a small ref, which I didn't have in their Tour room. Bathroom needs provision for hanging towel near the shower area. No space to put our other toiletries. There was only a space for soap, so we had to put it on the tiles on the side. Regarding amenities, we like that the pool temperature is warm. However, the pool ladder is loose, which can be scary to use. I like that we can use their snorkeling equipment for free and the clear kayak boat is free too for 15 minutes. There's no beach front, as in sand on the beach for you to stay at. Just stairs directly to the water. Our comment regarding the restaurant, the spaghetti was soaky, wonton soup was bland and no fish options on the menu. But some of their food are okay. I hope instead of instant coffee, I can have the option to choose drip coffee or have more decent options in coffee (I was sad about it, as someone who's particular with her coffee). Hope they will have espresso-based coffee or at least brewed coffee available instead of just instant coffee. Internet connection is okay, it might not be quite fast enough for video meetings. I was advised DITO and Globe signal are good in the resort. But maybe it was only just inside my room. I haven't checked the internet speed outside. There's live band after/during dinner time. The group who sang on our stay on the 29th wasn't so good but the one weekend prior was great. During my return, they prepared a small welcome back surprise for me. I felt so special. I really appreciated it. You can also request for them to prepare a small surprise for couples (ie., anniversary). The staff remembers returning guest too! I was also surprised to receive a returning guest voucher (free 1 whole pizza and a pitcher of iced tea - can only be claimed within my stay). The sunset in Pescadores is beautiful too! Good hotel for overnight stay, has everything for a comfortable stay, clean and tidy. Walk from the hotel to the beach for 15-20 minutes, the hotel can rent a bike for 350 pesos. Pleasant administrator. We are satisfied, thank you!

Had a wonderful time at Crazy Bears, I felt so at home there that I ended up extending to 9 days! The staff were so welcoming and kind, they helped with every question and even taught me some of the local dialect. Also loved the bar area, it's great for relaxing and meeting new people. A few of us got together to join the local quiz night as a Crazy Bears team which was fun. The location was great - a ten minute walk to the bars, restaurants and beach and tucked away off the main street so it was never loud at night. My bed in the dorm was very comfortable and liked that I had my own lamp, shelf and curtain. Showers and toilets were always clean. Thanks a lot to the whole team for making this such a great stay, hope to make it back some day!
