Maistra Select Mlini Hotel

Feeling confident with the wonderful Hotel Mlini from previous visits my sister and I took our dad (82) on a special trip to this wonderful "holiday haven".... Hotel Mlini never fails to meet all expectations I adore this special place!!! And even better... my dad and sister fell in love with the beautiful hotel and area too!! It truly is a blissful place to visit for all ages. Thanks once again to all the staff who really do look after you ... We'll be back! I'm already looking at next year xx

Great place to stay. We were on the top floor of Villa Lucic which had a great view of the sea and two good sized rooms and bathrooms. Always very clean and thankfully didn't see any nasty insects. Always managed to find a sun bed by the pool but as others have said, having to pay for one yards away on the beach makes no sense. If you are booking trips then do so when you are in Mlini. We had a speed boat trip to the caves and beach, which I suspect would be many times better than the 11 hour slow boat trip we had originally booked from Dubrovnik! We booked a car but I don't think you need one. The ferry and bus are both within 400m....with the bus being uphill. Pool is big enough without being huge but no guards know duty. The gym was a bit underwhelming. Plenty of Restaurants to try although I think Cavtat is cheaper. We stayed for 7 nights which I think is more than enough. If we were doing it again, I think we would have stayed for 4 and had 3 elsewhere. The roads are not all the quickest and there is so much to see along the coast.

We were moved to this sister hotel as the one we initially booked ‘Astraea’ was undergoing renovations. Whilst we were disappointed as wanted to be right next to the pool and the Astraea had a games room and pool table which my teenagers were eager to use, we were delighted at how clean the hotel was. The staff are excellent, very friendly and very helpful. Air conditioning throughout the hotel was a god send! Rooms so lovely and clean. On my birthday they gave me cake at breakfast and a bottle of fizz in our room making it very special. I would say the only downside was the pool wasn’t as clean as the hotel and really could have done with a clean (see photo) really really needed a pool bar. Great location with stunning views and a short ferry ride to both Dubrovnik and Cavtat (which I would recommend visiting)

We arrived midday at the hotel Mlini the hotel is modern and spotlessly clean. The view of the beach and the sound of the waves greet you. Our room was on the 4th floor , spotlessly clean a giant size comfortable bed and all very modern touch screen lights air con etc. Spacious bathroom bath with shower double sinks plenty of space. Our view from the balcony ,you could see over to Cavtat and Srebreno beautiful hear the waves just outside your window. The pool area is shared with the Sister hotel Astrea which was having some renovation work while we were there , we have been pre-warned by jet2 about this but it did not impact our stay at all . There was always lots of sun beds available. If I was to have a criticism it would be that the sun loungers are not of good quality and not comfortable, the hotel is immaculate in every way apart from these loungers. We were bed and breakfast and the food was hot fresh and lots of choice you could have the buffet style or also order from the menu for Eggs Benedict, waffles omelettes all delicious. Special shout out goes to Mladen service was impeccable when he was leading front of house in the morning and evening such a nice man and very professional a credit to the hotel. We ate in many of the restaurants that all were lucky to have the seaview , the best by far was La Norma fantastic service beautiful menu the orange cake delicious. We went into Dubrovnik, Cavtat using the water taxis these were around 15 euros return we stopped off at Srebreno’s stop and walked to the Kupari beach which is a stunning beach but such a sad area showing the devastation the Bosnian war had on many hotels there. Absolutely loved Mlini and hotel Mlini was the perfect place for couples looking for a relaxing base to stay ,staff and hotel are amazing ! Thank you so much and we will be back.

Stylish modern hotel on the beach front in Mlini. Beautiful location 6 miles north of Cavtat as the hillside meets the sea. We booked through a third party and were a little disappointed to end up in annexe opposite. Our room was huge but we didn’t have the balcony we had booked. Plenty of positives; super clean, great breakfast with plenty of choice, nice pool (next door). Whilst Mlini is a small village it runs along and into Srebreno. Combined there are lots of bars, some fantastic restaurants and an array of pebbled beaches. Whilst there are lots of steps to climb to reach the main road it’s only 10 mins and gives you access to the number 10 bus which will take you north to Dubrovnik or south to Cavtat. Buses ran until after midnight (handy if you miss the see taxi/boat)

We just returned from a fantastic one week family holiday spent at the beautiful Mlini Hotel. There is literally nothing to fault. The hotel itself is modern and spotless. The staff are wonderful, especially the housekeeping team and the front of house restaurant staff. The location is stunning and peaceful. We also struck lucky with the sister hotel being closed for refurbishment so the shared pool area was quiet and we never had a problem getting four sun loungers. We used the water ferry from right outside the hotel to visit Dubrovnik and Cavtat (do NOT use Adriana as they are terrible, highly recommend you use Vivado. Cost is €15 return) and also booked a private day trip to Montenegro and full day boat trip to the Elephanti Islands, both of which were excellent. Food-wise, we had planned to wander out every evening to try a different restaurant but ended up eating at the Basilico pizza & pasta restaurant every night because the location is stunning, the service was excellent and the food was on point. Pre dinner drinks at the Oleander is also nice and relaxing watching as the sun goes down. Final point - it’s only 15 minutes from the airport but not in the flight path so no noice pollution from the planes. Uber to hotel was just €15. All-in-all a fantastic experience and we will definitely be returning. Very highly recommended

We enjoyed our vacation to the max last week, where the entire hotel staff is to be complimented , from Sonja to Mr. Lovorka, the head of the reception. Impressive welcome from Stana, Allen and Stjepo on the first day, then it was just nice things one after another. We got an upgrade with a direct sea view, personalized massage from the manager, a fruit basket and cookies...wow you can't ask for more. Sonja was great, she did everything she could to make our stay better. The restaurant people from Marijana, Mlada, Maria, Sanela... did an amazing job to make the breakfast run smoothly. Thank you very much, just keep doing what you’re doing guys!!! We highly recommend this hotel. Mersida

Wow wow wow we loved this hotel. Staff are always helpful, friendly and happy. Hotel is absolutely immaculate. Bedding was like sleeping on a cloud, those pillows ❤️ rooms are stunning, cleaned daily. Fresh towels daily and tea and coffee filled up. Would be nice to get more coffee though, maybe enough for 2 coffees each. Little bit of a sewage smell coming from shower (room 102) We were Bed and Breakfast and again food was delicious, loads to choose from. The resort is stunning and I have to say the cleanest resort I’ve ever been to. You won’t find any litter anywhere. Just the best and most beautiful place. Would 100% recommend this hotel and resort to anyone.

This hotel is absolutely stunning. Modern, very clean with big spacious rooms with views looking out over the sea. Staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. There is a pool at the sister hotel next door which is less than 3 mins walk which was also great. Cleanliness was outstanding throughout. Buffet breakfast was also amazing, had everything you could think off plus you could have whatever you wanted made fresh. Mlini is a beautiful little town and the hotel sits right at the harbour where the views were spectacular. We also had dinner one night and the food was great. The airport is 15 mins away and Dubrovnik old town is also 15 mins away. We used Ubers to get around and again, had great services from all the rides we got. If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars I would and cannot wait to go back and experience the relaxing atmosphere of it again.
