Ryozan is an extra-fancy Japanese hot spring inn located a 15-minute drive from Tokishi Station. The serene waters of the Kanigawa river run through the inn's property that is rich in greenery and tastefully-decorated Japanese atmosphere. The inn's traditional Japanese guest rooms are spacious and pleasant. Spend a luxurious time in the inn's en-suite rooms with an outdoor spa, their creative Japanese cuisine, rock bathing and a beauty salon, as well as an open-air terraced cafe.

The room is large, there are many types of hot spring pools, and there are some leisure facilities. Unfortunately, we arrived at the hotel too late and some services have been rested. The breakfast type is very rich, and you can see the beautiful scenery of Huina Gorge outside the window. It is very pleasant. I originally wanted to eat breakfast and then soak in the soup. I didn’t expect it to be the hot spring cleaning time after 9 o’clock. It’s a pity.

It is a hotel visited on a tour. It is said that it is about 12 minutes from ENA station. It is very convenient because there are big coops, convenience stores, Drax stores nearby, and megadonki when walking 5 minutes. We were guided to a double bed room. There were humidifiers, fabrics, refrigerators, hot water heaters, firepower dryers, and TV with a few channels of wowwow. The unit bus equipped in the room was separate from shampoo and conditioner and was a mint fragrance. The faucet is a type of water adjustment according to hot water. The toilet is equipped with a washing machine. There is a large bath on the first floor of the artificial hot spring. The woman gets a security card at the front desk and enters. I tried to use it early in the morning, but there was no person at the front desk and it was hard. I want you to have a bell. There are 3 washrooms in the bath, and the bathtub is the size of 3 or 4 people to relax. Towels are brought from the room. The dressing room had cleaning lotion, cosmetic water and emulsion. There was also a washing machine and dryer. Breakfast was a buffet. With a glove and a dish with a dong, etc. There were many Japanese menu. There were many people working, and it was very crowded immediately after the opening. There is an acrylic plate on the counter seat and table, and it is basically a candy to eat alone. There is a coffee that can be brought back to the room at the edge of the lobby, and it is available for most of the time during the stay. It is a pity that I noticed that I couldn't use it very much in the morning. The origami Santa arrived at the greeting from the cleaner and was lovely.

I was very grateful for the free parking lot. There were places to eat and convenience stores around, and I was able to spend the night without inconvenience.

I used it for business on weekdays. I also used it in February 2022, but it was a success regardless of the corona disaster. (It is crowded with business customers even on weekdays) The reason I chose it was that there was a large communal bath. It is easy to use it immediately when it is troublesome to fill the bathtub with hot water at the end of work. At around 22:00 pm, it is available almost in a chartered state. It is a bit far from MEITETSU Shin Kani / JR Kani station, 10 minutes walk, but the hotel itself is located in the center near the city hall. However, within walking distance, there are few restaurants other than taverns (about Starbucks on the other side of the road), and there are few choices for dinner. There is a Don Quixote UNY Kani store about 5 minutes walk (crossing the bridge). AM2 Since it is open until 00 o'clock, it is convenient because it can be used for a little shopping. The facility itself is clean and uncomplained. Located in the center of the city, the night zone is quiet with few cars. Even when you call a taxi, a taxi waiting at the station will come, so you won't have to wait.

This Ryokan was perfectly situated: very near the station but not too close. What I loved about this Ryokan was that it was a modern, chic version of an old Japanese Ryokan. My room was light, fresh and spacious. The Ryokan was new, 2 years old, so it had the mod cons whilst being very aware of being eco friendly. As to be expected in Japan it was spotlessly clean and the staff were incredibly attentive. Although not fluent in English, they made every attempt to communicate through Google translate etc. I felt very welcomed here. I highly recommend this Ryokan and would definitely return.

You get a voucher for a frozen meal which you can store in your room freezer and microwave inside your room. The room was nice and cool even though it was summer. It is spacious with a large bed. I had an issue with the Wi-Fi where it said no connection even though I typed in the password, but I was only there to sleep so I didn’t try to ask the staff for help.
