4S STAY Awaikeda Honmachi St.

This is a former kimono shop converted into a hotel. It is divided into two units, each two stories high. This time we booked the whole hotel, which is very suitable for a group of friends. We are very satisfied with the facilities. We can take a hot spring bath, and the hair dryer is a Dyson, which is very easy to use.

Even though we checked in at exactly 10pm, they were very accommodating! The rooms were lovely, and the Japanese-style room in particular was very tasteful, making for a relaxing stay! Thank you so much!

預訂時，已寫明是兩大兩小，亦寫明小朋友年齡，收費亦按四人計算，辦理入住時，我們拿出四本護照登記，職員很驚訝，因為他們只安排了兩張單人床，沒有安排其他床墊，他們查看自己的紀錄，也發現是四人入住的，這顯示資料上沒有任何出錯，但他們卻只安排了兩張單人床，但入住時，時間較夜，職員說沒法辦法安排加床墊，可以選擇退款或以兩張單人床入住，在這情況下我們也沒法選擇，只好照辦理入住，進入房間，確實住不下，兩張單人床，不能滿足四人入住。第二天一早外出，本打算到櫃枱要求職員安排床墊，但辦公時間原來是10:00，我預約了其他行程，也沒法等待他們上班，當完成行程回到民宿附近，他們已下班，也無法作出任何安排，結果兩天的住宿，被逼在這情況下渡過

小巧可愛的町屋～ 服務非常貼心！ 非常可愛的傳統日式町屋！房間設計保留昔日氣氛，但同時加入了現代化的設備，使人住得很舒服。 浴缸是可以恆温，泡澡時不怕水温下降，完美體驗日本泡澡文化。 整體服務非常好，職員知我們有小朋友入住，便在日式臥室準備好床墊，方便小朋友睡覺。而且還預先替我們開了臥室的暖氣， 一踏入房間已感到溫暖。 而負責check in 的 cafe 食物很好吃！推薦！ 唯獨不太喜歡1樓與2樓要使用不同的拖鞋，感覺有點不便。

The first contact is quite positive (nice apartment, nice bathroom), but unfortunately several crippling defects. The bedding is quite uncomfortable (with mini-duvets: mine came up to my navel), poor soundproofing (which the owners are well aware of, earplugs being conspicuously made available next to the beds), and especially the presence of a very bright emergency exit sign (which is of no use: it is on the 2nd floor in a 2 meter long corridor to show the (only) direction of the staircase) next to the (openwork) door to the bedroom.
