"Amanohashidate Hotel is located at the foot of Amanohashidate, with all its attractions within walking distance. Getting here from Kyoto is incredibly convenient: take the Tango Highway Bus and alight at Amanohashidate Station (buses to Ine Bay also depart from the same stop). The ryokan is right across the road. You can immediately drop off your luggage with the staff (if you've planned your arrival time well), making it effortless to head straight to Ine Bay. It's truly convenient for exploring both Amanohashidate and Ine Bay, the 'Kyoto by the Sea' region. This is a traditional Japanese *onsen* ryokan, built in 1900. All rooms boast magnificent views of Amanohashidate. The natural hot spring water flows directly from an underground source, offering wonderful health and beauty benefits. The included meals (dinner and breakfast) – a *kaiseki* dinner and buffet breakfast – were absolutely excellent and well worth the price, especially considering it was cherry blossom season!"

"The service staff will come out to greet you before entering the hotel. The guide to check in is very friendly. We have reserved a room type➕Dinner and breakfast are both eaten in the restaurant. Guests will be asked to choose a time slot. "I originally booked a room (with a balcony) but received a notice the day before departure, saying that due to communication problems, I could not arrange this type of room and could only arrange a room without a balcony. However, something unexpected happened and compensation was provided, so I had no choice but to accept! Fortunately, the room needs to be older, but it is still tidy and has the same view. It happens to face the swing bridge, so I just sit indoors and watch. The breakfast and dinner are very rich and delicious, and the staff is polite. The only thing is that the hot spring is relatively small and there are too few shower places, so it is easily full. But I still think it’s worth recommending👍"

"It took nearly five hours to change three trains from Osaka (JR designated tickets were bought, but I felt that there was a problem with the JR system, and there were vacancies when I got on the train to buy tickets), and I saw the most beautiful snow scenery of Amanohashidate as I wished. It snowed so heavily that day. I was so excited at the beginning✌, and so frustrated later, and so frustrated during the process😭, and so many full memories when I went home😂
The hotel is really good, the room is quite large, and the Aso Sea is outside the window. You can see the morning light, but it’s a pity that you can’t upload the video. The public bath of the hotel with 150 Yan per person is also very good, and you can take a bath and look at the scenery outside the window. There are fewer shopping around in winter, so it is recommended to buy it in advance. Because it is by the sea, the hotel has a big🦀 restaurant recommendation. In short, it is a perfect trip."

"The hotel has a free shuttle to Amanohashidate station between 8 am to 9:30.
Location is 1.8km from station but directly sea view. If there is personal transport it will be great.
The bus from Amanohashidate station is 1 hour 1 bus, so it is a bit inconvenient. I didn't see a taxi.
When you arrive at the station, you should deposit your luggage at the locker (500Y / day with a locker) to go out: Viewland cable car, park, hot springs, boat terminal are all around the station.
The scenery is really amazing"

"This hotel is very historic and clean. If you can't live in Amanohashidate, it's pretty convenient. It's about 15 minutes walk to the train station. There is a department store nearby and there are many restaurants upstairs to choose from. The breakfast is Japanese, simple and delicious. The counter clerk can speak a little English, so communication is not a big problem. The toilets are shared and very clean. Most of the guests are Japanese and very polite."

"The hotel is about a 3-minute walk from Amanohashidate JR Station, which is very convenient for a 2-day trip to Amanohashidate. You can see the sea from the room window, and the scenery is great. Although the store can only speak Japanese, the food and service are very good. In addition, the Kansai Wide Area 5-Day Pass + Amanohashidate 2-Day Pass booked on Ctrip is also a good deal, because the 2-day pass alone at the Amanohashidate Tourist Center costs 3,500 yen."

"Hotel location is very good for self driving travelers. The hotel is a traditional building with very good service. The staff are friendly. There were two issues due to our room location. One of them was our room located next to the public toilet. When we passed through the toilet going back to the room, it was a bit smelly. The second issue was the guest making noise by stepping around upstairs during the midnight. Other than that, the hotel itself is fantastic."

Zzh3usThe rooms here are really quite large for japanese standards and the bedding was really nice and firm. The lobby has a large area with a communal work/dining space. You catch families sitting at the large dining table for breakfast in the morning. They have in-building self laundry facilities but i highly suggest YOU DO NOT use the dryer, its a scam, it does not work at all, its not even hot at all, plus you got to download an app to use it (ew). Theres a coin laundry just 5 minutes walk away, use that instead (google it).

GGuest User이네, 아마노하시다테 1박2일 일정 시 추천하는 숙소입니다. 더 오래 머물러도 괜찮겠더군요. 숙소 바로 옆으로 이동용 선박이 다니고 배를 타지않더라도 걷거나 자전거를 타고 돌아다닐 수 있어 좋습니다. 객실 선택 시 저녁식사를 선택하지 않더라도 일본어만 어느정도 하시면 버스로 다닐 수 있는 거리에 예약 없이도 식사가능한 현지식당들이 있으니 괜찮습니다. 숙소 내 온천 입구쪽으로 자유롭게 이용가능한 음료, 캔디바 등이 비치 되어있어 좋습니다. 원래는 비건 옵션이 없는 곳이나 예약 시 문의하니 서양식 비건 조식을 따로 준비해주셨습니다. 접객, 주변 환경, 교통 편의, 객실 내외 온천, 객실 정원 등 잘 갖추어져있어 충분히 가볼만한 숙소라고 생각합니다.

WWAI YIThe owner and his wife are nice and the service is good and the breakfast is delicious. The hot spring is in the store. I stayed for one night and soaked twice. The two soups are different in the morning and evening. The indoors are soaked in the sea. The surrounding environment of the hotel is good.

GGuest UserIt is a bit of a walk from Amanohashidate Station (13 minutes according to Google Maps, but they say there is a pick-up and landing service, so those who can use it can use it)
The room is a key key rather than a card key, and the air conditioner was turned on before check-in so it was cool. The overall interior of the hotel has a vintage feel, so it goes well with the countryside and is cozy.
Amenities include shampoo, conditioner, body shampoo, cleansing foam, hair nutrition(?), lotion, and skin toner, so I didn't take out my cosmetics. Good thing~ I used the twin room by myself, and there was still room even if I spread out about four carry-on suitcases. It is spacious enough and has a dining table, wardrobe, sofa, and console. The bathroom is a dry toilet with separate bathroom, toilet, and sink.
There were welcome snacks and a tea ceremony set, so I made good use of them. They also provided water in the pot in advance. Instead, there is no welcome water, so if you need cool water, use the vending machine on the first floor.
There are no stores nearby, but they sell drinks, beer, and hard disks at the reception, so if you need a snack last night, you can use them. The large public bath is cozy. Likewise, shower amenities (excluding shower balls) are provided, so feel free to use them.
The view from the balcony in the morning is beautiful (see photo, the second photo was taken at night) However, during times when there are a lot of tourists, there are cruise ships passing by so there is no privacy, which is a bad thing, but I wouldn't stay at the hotel at that time anyway. I guess it doesn't really matter because it's not that big of a deal. Every time a cruise ship passes by, I wave and they respond, which makes me happy haha.
You can rent a bicycle at the hotel (400 yen)
I made a last-minute reservation due to my schedule and mostly just slept, but it was a place I wanted to stay longer.

GGuest UserWonderful hostel! The girl on the reception is most helpful and friendly. It is 7-10 minutes from the bus stop, partially uphill, but the breathtaking view from terrace is worth it. Dinner and breakfast is substantial and tasty, free tea and coffee all day long. In the bathroom they have a small but nice sento!

LLaobingxinzhuanIt is a serious Japanese-style hotel. You need to take off your shoes at the entrance and go up and down the stairs barefoot. The rooms are very clean and hygienic inside and outside. There is a public toilet with a hot spring pool. You need to pay a 150 yen hot spring tax for bathing. The breakfast is pure Japanese style, so you can feel full. Take the Dankai Bus from Ine or Amanohashidate, get off the Nishihorikawa River, and walk 200 meters to get there.
