Soraniwa Hotel and Cafe

This was my second visit. Last time, I gave it 5 stars. This time, I gave it 0 stars. I'd give it a minus. This was my first solo trip. Last year, when I came to Miyakojima with my family, I was looking forward to this cafe, which was very delicious, but I ended up in a terrible mood. When I arrived, the staff was paying the bill for the previous customer, so I waited at the entrance. I made eye contact with the staff several times while paying, so I thought they would come when they were done, but they didn't. While I was in a difficult position, a family came in next, and the same staff spoke only to the family behind them. They completely ignored me even though we were next to each other in the small store. The staff behind me urged me to go first because I was in line first, and they finally spoke to me. They didn't even say a word of apology. It's a shame because I was very nice when I came here with my family last year. I guess they ignored me because they don't make any profit if I come alone during the peak season. I aim to go to Miyakojima every year, but I will never go here again.

We went to a cafe. There was no place to eat in the hotel where we were staying, so we were struggling for dinner, and when we finally found a restaurant we kept repeating that it wasn't tasty, but the lunch here was delicious. The view was lovely, and it was fantastic eating on the terrace watching the sea and sparrows playing on the grass, but there was so much nature that there were moths and spiders. We found a spider's web on our table, so we called the waiter, and a pretty young lady grabbed the spider with her bare hands and guided us with a smile, which surprised us. We were strangely impressed, as we realized that you can't live on Miyakojima unless you can do something like that.
