The general manager, WENDY MYERS, and two of her employees who live there have no customer service skills. They are rude, disrespectful to residents and other employees. WENDY took $250.00 out of my account TWICE without my authorization. When confronted, WENDY had an attitude and couldn't explain why. She blamed it on one of her employees. She also has her employees go through residents' rooms while they are away. During my month and a half of staying there, my room was never cleaned. I had to borrow the vacuum and broom from the girl at the front desk. Towards the end of my first month, I needed to stay longer. I went to front desk and was told to call reservation, which I did. I reserved the exact same room for another month and received a confirmation number. Two days before my first reservation ended, I walked in from work, was stopped by Wendy, and told that I couldn't stay in that room. She suggested trying to get a room at another hotel. I told her I made reservations 2 weeks ago. She told me she didn't see the reservation on the computer (this was a lie) and I didn't book it through her.That was the first time my credit card was charged for $250 without my permission. She blamed it on her employee. She claimed she did not know why that was done. I called reservation and they confirmed the booking was in the system. I also had my sister call reservation and was told the same thing. I explained what had just transpired. I was told that the manager from Guest Service would call me back. I have yet to receive that phone call. Guest Service also stated unauthorized charges are not allowed to be made to your credit card. Wendy told me if I wanted to stay, I needed to call reservations and book a different room. I suspected Wendy wanted to make more money on the room from people coming for the Notre Dame game. The next morning, I called her personally and asked to be moved to a different room. She gave me a room that was disgusting, and nothing was upgraded. Two weeks in, Wendy called me at work, yelling, making accusations and told me I "needed to get out of her hotel" because I was caught smoking in the room by two of her employees. She never allowed me to respond to her accusations. I wasn't given a chance to defend myself. Without my authorization, she charged my credit card $267. She also charged $22 for leaving early! As I was asking her to explain the charges, she walked away from me. I have two witnesses to her unprofessional, disrespectful, and rude behavior. She kicked me out and charged me $22 for leaving early! She falsely accused me of smoking in the room so did she can charge me $267.00. Ironically, Wendy should be more focused on the employees that live on the premises, smoking **** in their rooms and harassing the residents. For all the money I spent there ($$$), I should have never been treated rudely. WENDY is difficult to deal with. Her behavior is inconsistent. One day she is nice to you, another day
