Mishan Xingkaihu International Grand Hotel

I'm giving this negative review to the hotel's front desk. I've stayed in many four- and five-star hotels, but I've never encountered such a disengaged and inefficient front desk at a star-rated hotel! When we checked in, we parked in the underground parking lot. As expected, they should have entered our license plate into the system upon check-in. However, even after we'd finished unpacking our luggage, they still hadn't. If we hadn't asked the front desk, we'd probably be stuck at the parking lot entrance! The worst part was when I checked out. I gave the front desk key cards for both rooms, and they told me to add them on WeChat and return my deposit after they checked the room. After over half an hour, the check wasn't complete, and we'd already reached the highway entrance. They told us on WeChat that they hadn't given us the key card for one room. Not wanting to have our deposit deducted for no reason, we returned to the hotel. The front desk clerk actually said, "I didn't ask you to come back." If the front desk had communicated more efficiently, we wouldn't have had to return. We were delayed for over an hour, and there was no apology at all. When we brought it up, the female receptionist said, "Didn't I apologize at the beginning?" I didn't expect the Mishan Hotel's work attitude to be this bad. Inefficient and disengaged, they implicitly told us we deserved the hassle of returning home and that we should just wait for our room card to be charged! I reported the review to Ctrip, and their customer service was shocked. Communication between the Ctrip platform and the hotel was fruitless. So, it seems the staff's poor attitude is a product of management's connivance.

The parking lot is very secure. The desk in the room was large and comfortable for working. I went to breakfast at 7:00 am, but the air conditioning wasn't cooling enough, and I was sweating. There were no paper towels on the table, which was very inconvenient. The windows were not soundproof, and I could hear car horns at 12:30 am.

The room was indeed large and spacious, but there were too many mirrors. In the room and bathroom, there were so many mirrors I couldn't even count them. The entrance was very busy and bustling, and it was indeed in the city center, so it really depends on your preference.

I went to Xingkai Lake on the weekend and found that many of the accommodations around were simple in decoration and had a strong sense of age. The key point was that the price was not very affordable. I felt lucky to have chosen this hotel. The hotel has a high-end style, the environment, the service and the hygiene are all first-class. I personally feel that it is not an exaggeration to double the price of Ctrip. I strongly recommend that you must stay at this hotel when traveling to Xingkai Lake to improve the comfort and happiness of your trip.

Seeing this hotel on Ctrip made it sound impressive, but I was completely disappointed. When staying in a hotel, I personally consider the three most important aspects: 1. Bed and bedding 2. Bathroom and shower 3. Luggage rack. This hotel's room was spacious, but the shower was barely one square meter. The showerhead was too high and fixed, and couldn't be adjusted. The drain was clogged and drained slowly, causing shower water to flood my feet. Therefore, the shower room received a poor review. Furthermore, the lack of luggage racks in the spacious room was inconvenient. The front desk staff were also unhelpful and cold.

The weather was very hot, and the hotel had newly installed air conditioning. But the air conditioning remote control didn't work at first, so I went to the front desk to ask for help. The front desk directly said that the room type you booked didn't say that air conditioning was provided. In a small place outside the 18th tier, it charges five-star prices, provides three-star services, and has one-star service awareness.
