Great stay in a large family apartment which was well-maintained and spotlessly clean. Wonderful service and welcome from Marios and Vicky, and charming and friendly staff. Well located for the village and the beach. A wonderful place for a quiet, relaxing family holiday.

Kastro has very good apartments for a very good price, the most beautiful swimming pool and garden in all of Crete and certainly the friendliest staff that makes you feel very welcome (including a bottle of wine) and is willing to help you with everything. Special thanks for the gardener who let us taste all kind of fruits and vegetables from the garden!

Brilliant! We had the apartment with the very sunny balcony. Superb sun rises and sunsets. Many thanks to Marios and Vicky for their assistance. Thanks again Vicki for accurate and very timely responses to emails. Excellent location for walking into Mirtos main town and beach.

Ondanks dat we na middernacht zijn aangekomen door een vertraging met de vlucht, was alles tot in de puntjes geregeld om onze kamer probleemloos te vinden, zelfs zonder dat er nog een receptionist aanwezig was. Mooie ruime kamer met een leuk terras. De badkamer is ietwat gedateerd, maar volledig functioneel. Eerst waren er wat problemen met de wifi, maar na wat over en weer geprobeerd, raakten die uiteindelijk opgelost. Om en rond het zwembad is het heerlijk vertoeven. Parkeren kan voor de deur. Je staat ook in enkele minuten rustig wandelen in het centrum en op de promenade.

Auch wenn das Kastro etwas in die Jahre gekommen ist, so funktioniert doch alles und die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig. Das beste am Kastro war jedoch der traumhafte Garten. Er trägt viel zum Wohlfühlen bei. Zitronen-, Limetten- und Orangenbäume in Hülle und Fülle. Nachts ist es sehr ruhig dort.

Auch dieses Jahr haben wir uns im Kastro sehr wohlgefühlt. Vicky , Marius und Manolis sind wahre Gastgeber und geben das Gefühl dass man willkommen ist. Die Anlage ist überschaubar und immer super sauber. Auch das Housekeeping ist lobenswert. Der kleine Pool und die ausreichenden lLiegen machen den Aufenthalt angenehm. Fussläufig kann man den Ort mit seinen Tavernen, Cafés und Restaurants in 3 Minuten erreichen.
