Venice Palace Hotel

Rude staff, dirty rooms and no hot water. Terrible breakfast and...and..but how do you write such reviews? Some people either happen to be on the wrong day or were born wrong on their own. Yes, the structure can be improved in detail, but it is absolutely worth the money they ask for. We had a great time. Already found the gift for my nephew's confirmation. Trip to Venice with night at the hotel!!!

We improvised a trip to Venice and obviously we know that booking at the last minute means spending a fortune or making do, among other things on Halloween Eve it was packed everywhere. Searching and searching, this hotel comes up, with a price per room of 65 euros including breakfast, a done deal! Once we arrive on site, the external structure says a lot about what we will find inside, a 70s structure, poorly cared for and let go, the 4 stars were perhaps worth it in those years. Inside the structure is worse than expected, you can see the neglect and abandonment of certain places. It is a very large structure, decades ago in its full splendor it must have been an important hotel, of a certain value, but now only old memories remain. The room, alas, is no different, old furnishings (not antique, old!), scary curtains (perhaps it was a Halloween theme 🎃), old bathroom, inefficient hairdryer, taped sockets, broken beds, you literally sink into the mattress, in short, a place abandoned. In the corridors, with a little imagination, you can relive the golden days of this hotel, with the wall-mounted shoe cleaner, the paintings, the convector heaters... Is a good breakfast what you need to start the day off right? Well, have it outside at the bar, the one offered by the hotel, despite being rich, is a bit shabby and poorly managed, among other things the beautiful room from 40 years ago has now become a hideous setting. The only thing I can't complain about is the kindness and courtesy of the entire staff, excellent, but unfortunately not enough to make up for all the flaws. I don't like to speak badly of the structures, I understand that work is important for everyone and this hotel represents the means of livelihood for many families, I understand the good will and the prices well below the competing market, I understand that the Covid period has given a blow to everyone, but that's not the way. Reduce the rooms, create a small well-kept B&B, tear it down, renovate it, keeping it like this is a shame, you are neither fish nor fowl. If your alternative is to sleep in the car and you want a room then ok, otherwise look elsewhere, sorry.

26度的天氣，沒有空調，窗户不能開。 第一個房間門鎖壞的，一推就開。換了一個房間，窗户打不開，沒有空調，熱的要死，恐怖的要死，黑漆麻他。旅行社是什麼黑心的啊。地方很偏僻，走去超市都害怕。很多燈都不能開。沒有任何隔音。

Abbiamo soggiornato all’hotel Venice il 18 il 19 agosto. Arriviamo e già da fuori non mi dava l’impressione di un 4 stelle. Entriamo alla reception e la mia impressione viene subito confermata. Ci vengono consegnate le chiavi delle camere e quando entriamo inizia il calvario. Su un divano letto chiuso che doveva fungere da letto singolo corredato di cuscino con federa pulita ma 7/8 capelli sopra e non si sa’ di chi. Lenzuolo bucato. Pavimento sporco non saprei di cosa, carta pareti strappata e sudicia, bagno sporco con porta imbratta da schizzi di doccia del cliente precedente, aria condizionata che sembrava un motore di un F16. Scendiamo a colazione la mattina posate sporche sala colazione fatiscente con una puzza di immondizia incredibile. Abbiamo scoperto che i secchi immondizia erano dietro le vetrate. La cameriera al banco al nostro scontento ci ride in faccia. Chiediamo dei caffè espresso che un 4 stelle ma anche i 3 servono al tavolo, quando sono pronti ci invita ad alzarci e a prenderceli da soli. Credetemi. Scandalosi.

Quand on cherche un hôtel sans prétention, qui fait le job entre deux journées marathon de visite, on est servi. Par contre attention, c'est hyper loin de Venise et mal desservi : pour aller à Venise il faut prendre un 1er bus en face de l'hôtel qui dépose 2 km plus loin à l'arrêt d'un 2ème bus qui rejoint Venise en 1h...et au retour, après 19h, il faut faire les 2 derniers km à pied. Au final c'est 3h de transport par jour... la prochaine fois, et bah il n'y aura pas de prochaine fois, c'est bien trop loin !

Stanze ampie e anche belle peccato che la doccia fosse rotta..l unica nota positiva è la cordialità del personale..Colazione per essere un 4 stelle è una delle peggiore che abbia mai fatto, nemmeno nel bar peggiore ho fatto una colazione così..per un 4 stelle avere le brioches del discount contate siamo veramente messi male..struttura in forte decadenza...non consigliato..
