Booked last minute but don’t think there would be a problem if you just turned up. Warm welcome after 7 hour drive. Hotel rooms are tired but beds comfortable. Parking outside was safe, police station nearly opposite. Breakfast was good for 3 star hotel. Dinner was ok. Room had lovely view over river. A good stop over en route to bilbao only 1 hour away.

We have stayed here a couple of times pre pandemic,it's a good hotel convenient for the motorway north and south,plus the river and old town worth a stroll.The reason for writing this review(I haven't been moved to write one for a couple of years) is Tudancas receptionist,Lorena.what a credit to the business!! We were allocated a room but wanted to be on the river side,the hotel was busy but Lorena without fuss allocated us another room everything we asked about was dealt with cheerfully and efficiently,she even printed off two e tickets for us! Grupo Tudanca,you have a brilliant asset to your business,UK hotels would be pleased to have her.

Marion needs manners ! We booked online and arrived to a very busy checking in session. Marion the mature lady on reception was extremely curt to the point of being rude. We understood that it was busy for her with what appeared to be a group booking checking in but she was far from welcoming and couldn’t smile or greet anyone. We were given an accessible room with a wet room and I was looking forward to a bath as we had stayed here 3 times in the past. We asked her if we could swap rooms to one with a bath but we were clearly making her more unhappy. We were not fussy weather it was a twin room or a double, we just wanted a regular bathroom with bath. Marion very reluctantly swapped our room after telling us it was not possible and she re programmed our door key then literally threw the key on the reception desk in front of us then turned her back on us to see to other guests. We were horrified at this and so too we’re the next couple checking in that witnessed this behaviour. Marion you really are in the wrong job ! We will not be put off staying at the hotel you work in because in previous stays every time it has been a pleasure. The younger lady on reception In the morning was very pleasant and we reported to her how rude Marion was., she apologised for Marion’s rudeness. We will see you next year and hopefully Marion will have learnt how to cope with checking in a group booking without showing her stress through rudeness. The breakfast staff and housekeeping staff were very pleasant when we encountered them.

I got a very good deal for two nights at this hotel. Breakfast is just 4€. The place is a little bit old, but everything is very clean. The heating system works really well, it was really cold outside and warm in the rooms. They have free parking in the hotel. It is close to Miranda and convenient for those driving to different places in the area. Staff is very kind.

If you are looking for an old hotel (or more...), bad soundproofing, with a barracks breakfast (careful with the coffee...), vintage rooms where resting is difficult, staff with a poker face (normal for the setting); Do not think about it . They have renovated some rooms and the hall, the rest of the hotel remains unchanged over the centuries. If you have an excursion or people who are not inclined to respect the rest of others, you get the complete set. As an "experience" and value for money, I do not recommend it.

The rooms that appear published are renovated but they gave us one from the 70s without renovation. The service was terrible, a bathroom light started flickering and turned on and off, they came to see it and did nothing to fix it.

Stopped at this hotel for one night while passing through Spain. We got a room on the seventh floor for our party, 3 adults and two dogs, which really suited the needs. Solid floor and no dirty carpet, very clean, a balcony from which we had a beautiful view. The beds were great! The bathroom was OK. Free secure parking. Excellent location. And this for a very low price, excellent breakfast included. You could dine there in the evening, with a choice of four menus, but also from the menu. This went very smoothly and very affordable. The staff was also friendly.

We spent the night in this hotel again on the way back from our wintering months in Andalusia. We asked for a quiet room and slept wonderfully again. We again received a beautiful room on the 8th floor with beautiful views of the Ebro and the snow-capped mountains. Lovely bed, shower and very good breakfast. Receptionist could have been a little friendlier. But otherwise very satisfied!
