Beach House Condominiums

Great location and beautiful view. Shopping, groceries and dinning all near by. Private beach was amazing! Condo had the bare necessities. We had to purchase everything from paper towels to salt and pepper. Also the listing says it doesn’t have a washer dryer but it does so that was nice. Each bathroom had two tiny rolls of toilet paper and it is expected to purchase your own if you need more. For the price we paid I at least expect to not purchase toilet paper. The view makes it worth it though and would probably return again.

Vacation Pictures were accurate and the building as well as communication was excellent. Definitely would stay here again.

Go elsewhere. For over $4,300 for six days I expected much better. The view was great, but...... 1. The living room furniture was disgusting. See photos 2. They don't want you sleeping under the comforter and provide a blanket. It was nasty. See photos. 3. The back sliding door may as well have been Ft. Knox because it doesn't open or close without super strength. 4. The laundry closet had a nice hole in the wall with exposed wiring. See photos 5. For 4 adults they provide 2 beach chairs on their section of the beach. For more than 2 chairs you will pay an extra $45 a day and if you don't reserve them, you won't have chairs. 6. The security officer reprimanded us for having two separate vehicles because, according to her, only one vehicle per rental is allowed. Which is pretty hard when you're coming to meet your child from a different location. 7. There was a hole in the tile beside the bed in the master bedroom. Great to step on barefooted first thing in the morning. 8. The laundry closet door is broken and off track and you have to fight it to close it so the toddlers don't get to the exposed wires. 9. There are two holes/cracks in the master bath ceiling just above a detachable shower wand that falls off and smacks you in the face while using it. We just expected so much more for the price we paid. And we'll go back to our usual spot in San Destin next year. If you're making nearly $5k a week, can't you at least make it look clean?

Pros: View, short walk to beach, and beach chairs and umbrella provided Cons: Run down and dirty. Our white socks were filthy within 5 minutes of being there. Dust on ceiling fans and vents. Unit is in need of deep cleaning. Master bedroom shows some water damage. Some windows are hard to see through. Beds are not great and fold-out couch is flat and basically springs. Balcony door is hard to open and close. Pool was not heated while we were there. Sign on pool gate said Pool heater was broke and someone would be there to look at it. Same sign was there all week and heater was not fixed. Could not cool down unit below 74° (and it was not very hot in March during our stay) You will be charged if every towel is not washed. This is difficult with such a small compact washer and dryer. Smallest washer and dryer I have ever seen. Elevator glass was broken and window in elevator was covered in duct tape. Also note that there is not a hot tub. There is a kiddie pool by the pool. We were mistaken by the pictures. If you can deal with the run down condo, the beach and view are great.

Great location for our week at the beach. Very family oriented for those vacationing with families and great for just a couple as well. We would say the facilities are comparable to other vacation locations we have stayed in at popular beach destinations in the US. Our condo could use some updating to our standards but still very good for rentals. Only thing that was different was a 9:00 AM check out and required to wash all the towels. Makes you have to get up earlier to shower and allow time for washing the towels. Overall we would come back easily.
