在波爾圖入住的米拉加伊亞別墅，我們認為其實是一個沒有前台服務的民宿酒店，需要密碼開鎖才能進入酒店大門和房間，但是在攜程平台上訂房，衹收到一個常規的入住確認單（號），根本無法進入酒店，打電話也是機器人在回答並且是葡萄牙語，沒有英語。還好我的朋友懂西班牙語和葡萄牙語，在大門處找到酒店的聯繫電話，幫助我們搞到了酒店大門和入住房間密碼，才通知輸入密碼進入酒店和房間休息。第二天上午退房時我們才見到打掃衞生的工作人員，她一句英語都不會，我們比手劃腳的溝通，才請她幫收了我們應該交的税（4歐元）轉老闆。
我們入住後也打電話給攜程進行了交流和探討，他們表示了歉意，並且表示給了我們一個滿意的處理。
如果你第一次去波爾圖，並且不會講葡萄牙話和葡萄牙語。一定要在訂房時與平台溝通好，收到入住密碼後才能順利入住！

This place is just North of the river Douro, so it's well placed for riverside strolls and steep uphill exploration of Porto's sights. Owner Marta is very helpful. Our room was huge and clean. The place is part of the AL (Alojamento Local) network, whose members rent out parts of their houses.

What a fantastic place. We walked all over Porto city centre during our 6 day stay and agreed that Miragaia House was in the best location we could have imagined. The room was simply and beautifully decorated. It had a small kitchenette and fridge (perfect for storing supplies of excellent local cheese, ham and port!). Although by the riverfront road which was busy during the day, it was quiet at night and there was also very effective double glazing to ensure this. Ultra-comfy bed too. Breakfast was fabulous, with an array of yoghurt, fruits, rolls, pastries, ham, salami, cheese, and eggs cooked to order. Marta and Zuly and their colleague were super-helpful and friendly. We now wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in Porto!

Large, convenient, quiet, and clean accommodations. Close to the waterfront and a short (uphill) walk or Uber to the city center. Be aware that this is a local accommodation (similar to an Air bnb) so it is not staffed. Check in was easy using the phone number posted in the window of the building.

The rooms are larger than typical European rooms and very comfortable. The location is great, right next to the river. Some things to know: the shower is EXTREMELY slippery, I don’t recommend for older guests or anyone balance challenged. There is no concierge. We were disappointed because there was a coffee maker in our room and the pods were never refilled. Average place to stay.
