A gem of a hotel on the Amalfi Coast. Rooms & public areas have stunning views of the sea, the winding coastline & the village. Lovely to sit on our own balcony & watch the world (& the little ferries) go by. Staff are very welcoming, friendly & helpful. The hotel is immaculately clean. A simple continental breakfast is served in a room & terrace with wonderful views. Breakfast coffee & local pastries particularly good. Our thanks to Cintia, Guiseppe & Mena (sorry if I spelled wrong) for making our stay so special. Minori is a great base for the Amalfi Coast, connected by ferry & bus to all the hotspots, or by walk through terraces & lemon groves to or from Ravello. It’s a haven to return to. Lots of cute bars & restaurants. We really loved it. Highly recommend Palazzo Vingius in the best spot in town.

There is a side entrance for luggage when you arrive, but being on the side of the busy road it was very scary. The entrance of the hotel is a challenging 57 steps up! We didn’t find it as difficult as we thought it would be, There are points where it levels off to catch your breath and stamina to keep going. The staff were very friendly and the place was very clean. Our room was extremely spacious overlooking the coast of Minori.

Beautiful hotel on The Amalfi Coast. Tastefully decorated, good size rooms and bathroom and very clean. Views from the rooms are stunning across the town and the beach. The staff are lovely and welcoming and the breakfast is a typical continental. There are 60 steps from the street to reception which is up an incline so not suitable for anyone with a mobility issue. Once at reception there is a small lift, but if like me you dont like lifts this is an issue as there were 159 steps to the top floor where our room was. I would recommend asking for a low floor if lifts are an issue. The standard rooms ( no balcony) is the very top floor. The hotel does not have parking but there is a car park directly below which costs around 12 euros a day. There are good size towels in the room but hair dryer is typically attached to the wall so would recommend your own. Town is small but some lovely restaurants and the ferry port is within sight below of the hotel, although not running whilst we were there due to the weather.

We had stayed here in 2019 and had no problems, so we booked a 5 day stay here in the middle of a 5 week tour of Italy. We arrived from Calabria where we had no Wifi and were told by the landlady that she had given away our room for the last 2 nights of our stay!!!! Which also happened to be on a Friday and Saturday on the Amalfi Coast She said she had sent us an email the day before advising us we needed to update the credit card we had given her. The email went to my Spam folder but I don’t check emails every day when I’m on holiday!! So Buyer Beware- she doesn’t care about her customers, even returning customers Luckily we found a very nice room at the Hotel Santa Lucia

This hotel is definitely the place to be on the Amalfi coast. Away from the mass touristic buzz of Positano (underwhelming) and Amalfi, this hotel in Minori Is perfect for a relaxing holiday, especially in spring time. There are plenty of boat and bus connections to go and visit the rest of the coast. The hotel is few steps away from the small but full of restaurants Minori centre. Signora Mena, the hotel owner, is friendly and professional, with a reception open at all time. The hotel is clean and comfortable but do not expect big rooms,as it's a small hotel carved in the rocks. We would one hundred per cent be back here if we visited the Amalfi coast again.

Bad value for money. Do not come as you’re not wanted here. Your every wish will be scandalously rejected by the hostess/owner, who spends all her free time in fighting her guests. Your any, even short comment, will be aggressively fought against, she is fighting really hard. To avoid frustration stay somewhere else.

My husband and I have just returned from a week staying at Palazzo Vingius for our honeymoon. We had the best stay, the hotel is absolutely beautiful and full of character, it’s very clean and well looked after. The staff were friendly and professional. Our room was so comfortable, we loved our balcony with the most incredible view of Minori beach. We will really miss it here! ❤️

The hotel is right next to the bay of Minori, although it is quite a walk up to the hotel. The service was very sweet and helpful throughout our stay. The room was small, but had everything you need, so it was good. The most amazing part was the view of the bay. It was absolutely stunning. Overall we had a very good stay at Vingius.

As a surprise for part of my husband's 'special' birthday year Amalfi Coast road trip, I booked 1 nights stay at this hotel through a popular on line hotel booking site. The evening before we were due go check in, the hotel sent a message on line cancelling our stay 'due to problems with our room'. I noticed this message just before midnight! They had instead booked us into a nearby establishment with neither the same standard of room, and nor was it bay side with coastal views. I was advised that they would sort payment with the new hotel. Due to time constraints, we had no alternative but to accept this switch. I understand these things happen, but was shocked 10 days after our return to the UK to receive notification that the Palazzo Vingius had charged their hotel tariff to our credit card rather than the lower tariff that the new hotel was charging at the time of our original booking. Surely as we didn't get the standard of accomidation we booked, the cost should have reflected this. We consider this very shoddy treatment by this hotel!
