Actually my trip was booked in August for April 7th. Almost 2 weeks before my trip, the manager calls to inform me that they are overbooked and will have to pay them double what I had booked for to get a room. No compensation. They were price gouging due to the popularity of the date due to the eclipse. They knew at this point, I would have no other options but to pay. I refused and am scrambling to make arrangements for a trip that was planned well in advance.
