Nice room and helpful staff.
We were there for only 14 hours because we had a medical emergency and had to go back home to the Emergency Room.
The person who helped us check out was great and said we would be getting a refund for two nights.

The lady when I checked in was nice and friendly but everything after that was pretty bad, the room didn’t feel clean…floors weren’t cleaned, the a/c unit was broken the whole time in our room(which we called for and they still Didn't fix it in time of check out) the day of check out the power went out also . Mind you I have four kids with me. Super disappointing experience in Minden

The room was big and the shower wonderful. However, the bed was an old fashioned mattress and too hard with very small, hard pillows. The blow dryer cord was hardly long enough to reach the mirror and the a/c fan was either on or off, no auto setting. That wouldn’t be bad if it wasn’t so loud it kept my husband awake.

We had people the floor above us the must had kids because they ran all night. Called office and it seems like hours later it finally stopped.

It was very nice it was clean and room was nicely updated from the last time I stayed there. The only negative thing was the AC was very loud.

Motor lodge is not close to the hotel where the registration desk is nor is the restaurant. So unless you like to walk 2 blocks from registration to your room I don’t recommend it. Also don’t bring large trucks to the lodge. There isn’t much room to maneuver them. If you do stay here, drive and park at the main hotel, check in and get your key, then drive over to the Motor Lodge. If you want to eat there, plan on driving your car back over to the hotel.

I have visited the CVI many times but this was my first stay…definitely won’t be the last! Great hotel and great value,
