Check in was confusing due to registration was not on-site. Room smelled of smoke and bug spray. I use oxygen so the oders were quite overwhelming. I woke up the next day with what appeared to be bug bites on my lower legs ankle areas. In room coffee maker was dirty and not cleaned by house keeping. Will not recommend or stay here in the future.

The room looked good at first for what we were expecting. The shower was a bit dirty. Could see dirt on the walls from either a previous person's stay or a dirty cloth. One of my kids left a Gatorade one the ground before bed and by the morning the entire floor was covered in ants and we were on the second floor. I have had better experiences in the actual hotel.

Made the right decision to rent this house! About 45 minutes to Yosemite and minutes from Bass Lake. We spent a lot of time on the front porch in the evenings. The outdoor kitchen and back yard was great too. Played a lot of outdoor games. Kids loved the hammocks. Quick response when we had questions. It was pretty hot the first day and the upstairs bedroom was warm. I asked if there was a fan, there wasn’t but there was one on the porch when we got back from the park. Some flew in early in the day. We couldn’t check in early as they were cleaning from the last visitors. They did allow us to drop off our groceries and put our cold stuff away. Thanks to other reviews we came prepared for mosquitos. We had 2 thermocells and they made being outside possible. The only disappointment, the kids really wanted to see a bear but had to settle for deer, turkey, quail, coyote and multiple species of birds. Strongly recommend this place.

Our first introduction was not being told where the Lodge is compared to the ****** hotel. The front desk checked us in, never asking if we knew where the Lodge was. After wandering around for 10 minutes we ended up back at the front desk and were misinformed that we could take the elevator there. Well, the Lodge is a separate building on the other side of the parking lot and a gas station! It’s not even walking distance with luggage! Although the room was very spacious and tried to be modernized, it fell short. Upon arrival we found the kitchen trash can was full and a used towel still hanging in the bathroom. The combo microwave/convection oven were too complicated to use—no directions. The curtains weren’t hung properly so they didn’t close and the porch light shined over the bed all night. Not a good experience
