I second everything already written. We spent 3 nights at Twin Peaks during a cycling tour in late June. I'm not a B&B fan due to past bad experiences, but Twin Peaks is superb. Leslie was a successful restaurant entrepreneur in the Toronto area, mastered the art of hospitality and applied it here as she and husband Michael seek a quieter, more rational life. Others in our group spoke very highly of Michael but we unfortunately didn't meet him -- hopefully next time! I don't recall if other reviewers pointed out that Twin Peaks is very well located, both for walking into Mindemoya and for riding/driving around the island. Also, very quiet.

What a great find. Leslie and Michael were amazing hosts. Leslie's knowledge of area and recommendations for places to see and eat were amazing. Breakfasts were outstanding and every morning they remembered our preferences. Rooms were very well appointed with even a small fridge. Leslie's attention to detail and cleanliness made our 3 nights memorable. Highly recommend!!!

This place was everything I hoped for and more! I'd been talking about this trip to Mindemoya for about twenty years as Mindemoya is my name. I'd been planning this trip for three years. Finally we made it and staying at Twin Peaks was the icing on the cake. The house is a stunning Tudor style house and the decor leans quite heavily into the Victorian style with a bit of rustic chic here and there. Ordinarily I'm not into that style but in this case it completely worked! The rooms are incredibly comfortable and the bed might just be the best bed I've ever slept on. The pillows were perfect and there were even a couple of different fills so you can find the one (or two or three!) that are just right for you. The room I had (room 3) faced out to the yard and I had a stunning view every day. The breakfasts were always super tasty and Leslie and Michael were all too happy to accommodate any special requests and dietary requirements we had. We didn't get a chance to meet Michael but Leslie is amazing!! She's definitely one of the highlights of the stay, without question. Make sure you spend at least one evening after sunset setting on the Adirondack chairs in the front lawn so you can listen to the frogs sing and the fireflies flit about. The only real feedback I'd give them is perhaps investing in stronger WiFi (I'm a bit of a travel blogger so the slower WiFi was a bit limiting) and maybe put a non slip pad of sorts in the showers as the floor is a bit slippery. But really, as criticisms go, I had to dog deep for those. This place is fantastic and I absolutely plan on coming back. Twin Peaks is a great example of why it's worth so much, not why it costs so much

A fantastic B&B! A beautiful Victorian house with all the modern comforts and amenities you could ask for. Located in Mindemoya, it is centrally located, making it easy to explore Manitoulin. The hosts, Leslie and Michael couldn’t be more friendly and welcoming ( even giving me a jump start when my car battery died😳!). To say nothing of the great breakfasts…eggs Benedict was my favourite. Don’t miss your chance to stay at this terrific place. We’ll be back!!

We were not able to book a stay at Twin Peaks as it was fully booked. However, we cheekily knocked on the door as we had seen the property on a TV Programme in the UK called Race across the World set in Canada and Leslie the owner answered. Leslie was so welcoming and allowed us to looked inside. The house is amazing! Leslie was more than happy to chat to us about the area and things to go and see in the surrounding areas. We only wish we could have experienced her warm hospitality by staying there. We will definitely book in advance if we are ever on Manitoulin Island again. Highly recommend a stay at Twin Peaks Bed and Breakfast! Thank you so much Leslie, it was great to meet you! Mike &Trish
